Ren'Py - Completed - A Town Uncovered [v1.02 Hotfix] [GeeSeki]

I'm looking forward to "A Town Uncovered" develop more. The art style is one of a kind, from what I've seen compared to other titles, and the story is interesting and unique as well.

It's an exploration game with multiple characters, each with their own story arc. I don't think any of them are fully completed yet as of this review, but they're all pretty entertaining so far.

There's a mod that restores certain relationship paths.

The art may be strange in the first hou but soon you get used to it and start to appreciate this work of art

Gameplay is simple and this makes it great because you never get lost in the game making your fun continues

At first I was reeeeaaaaaly not sure what to expect, especially considering the art style.

Graphics/Scenes:
BUT to my great suprise, I REALLY enjoy it so far. Despite the art style (I say despite, maybe others of you even prefer it, don't cut my head of for that please^^) it is a very sexy presentation so far. I did not expect that.

Story:
I don't really know what to make of the main story. It's weird and messed up and very interesting all at once. Can't really make a final decision about that so far.

The side stories are really well done so far, I enjoy them a lot. Especially the mother and sister of course. But the others have a promising start as well.

The Long and short of it:
I really enjoyed the game over the last versions and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

has good posts i have been getting all updates from 0.14 and they always come n time and sometimes even before and i think this thread is amazing because of the consistency. I hope you guys keep this up and i was wondering when is 0.17 coming out.

I really want to give this game 4 stars because of the art and the story, but ive been forced to drop it because of game breaking bugs, like the map disappearing in crucial moments. The story is interesting, tho it hasn't been expanded on yet. So you can focus on the routes you get with some of the characters. The routes are pretty hot, specially the one with the mother since its got good progression that keeps you hooked. I started the sisters route but had to drop it because of the bugs. Ill definitely come back to this game when it has been updated quite a bit, which might be in a long time since the dev seems to be pretty slow with the updates.

This game is awesom. Nice story and draws. I recommend it. It isa bit like DDLC, because the story is interresting and a little creepy. Personally I love how characters are drawed, but I think Geeseki can animate them better. The alpha of the game (I just finish playing v0.14a) have lot of choise of dialogue, characters and animation and bugs... But after all it's only an alpha, isn't it?

I like that the art is not 3d renders, like most of games. The story is progressing fine and even the art is getting better, is not SummerTime Saga but is the only other alternative I've found so far with hand drawn style. And also the developer seems committed and not the greedy type.

This could have been an interesting game but... it isn't, having 2D original art is nice but it requires skill and commitment that this game seems to lack of.

I like the art style and there's a lot of exploration rewards. The story isn't the 100% main focus and wandering around gives you side quests and fun small scenes. Regular bugfixes and a lot of polish for something this early in alpha.

Love the artwork and gameplay of this game. The story is decent and the humor isn't over the top in my opinion. I have played through it twice so far and enjoyed each playthrough, even if the game isn't very long. It certainly leaves me looking forward to each update
