Yes, a person with skill on Daz and the hardware to see it come together can create renders with more life in them than AI (for now). AI looks more realistic but is stuck in a few variations and a very common look for the moment. It looks better while lacking life most of the time.
A good Daz artist with the proper hardware can add intentionality and emotion where AI can sometimes lack it. Then again, a Daz newbie usually creates renders so bad that they're pretty funny. Not all all like the character they want tp emulate, plastic looking, etc.
Both have merits, both have negatives and I also wish the real talented people here made more art. The top Daz posters here are near the original in quality of the actual AWAM characters.
