With so many talented artists here, this fan art thread outclassed the original a long time ago in almost every way ...
Not at all a dive into the beef that apparently flared-up while I was gone for a while...however...
Yes, a person with skill on Daz and the hardware to see it come together can create renders with more life in them than AI (for now). AI looks more realistic but is stuck in a few variations and a very common look for the moment. It looks better while lacking life most of the time.
A good Daz artist with the proper hardware can add intentionality and emotion where AI can sometimes lack it. Then again, a Daz newbie usually creates renders so bad that they're pretty funny. Not all all like the character they want tp emulate, plastic looking, etc.
Both have merits, both have negatives and I also wish the real talented people here made more art. The top Daz posters here are near the original in quality of the actual AWAM characters.

Serious question, why would you think anyone wants to see these abominations? They are truly just awful. I don't understand how you can look at the awful quality of them and think they are worth sharing.

For me the problem of AI is the spammy nature of it. Simply because you can produce it quicker than Daz3D with almost no skill, makes people start producing LOTs of material and spamming the boards, making them unpleasant and not funny to scroll, and eventually people leaving those boards.
I would suggest a separate thread for AI AWAM, or forcing every AI to be colapsed under a spoiler title for those who wants non human but computer generated graphics in a batch of iterations over and over again. But spamming regular threads of Daz art is kinda rude and very unpleasant.
I don't like her plump face, it's not attractive to me.

ethan has to strive for consistency in the portraits he creates. people like kthulu, old_dog, whitewolf, conair, pixil, st-9pol, are the best examples for consistent quality works. anytime these people post their art, you will be treated to consistent quality work. that's something ethan will have to figure out.

It's ok about the white dress. Irl, certain angles can make a plain white dress seem opague or blurred
Nice touch with Sophia's eyes. Looks like a natural reaction.

I don't think it's bad, especially if relatively new to this or lacking top-end hardware.
