I like the story first of all. But interesting turn of phrase "hit by a truck" if they existed in this time. Perhaps "skewered by a stallion" or "ramrodded by a bull". I'm sure someone will assist.

As she playfully lowered herself onto the large toy, she couldn't help but notice its delightful size, and how snugly it fit her.
