VN - Ren'Py - A Wife and Mother [P2 v0.225 + P1 v0.152] [Lust & Passion]

Because of the great art i tried really hard getting through this game but its so awful that playing it is a chore and i quit it.

I don't mind a slow burn, in fact i prefer them but after playing this game for hours and hours getting to day 16 in the game and yet its still ice cold with not even a single nipple shown of the MC, at this point I'm not convinced she ever will get naked either as there is no feeling of the MC changing, you would expect it to get easier to convince her to do things as she gains more experience but instead she fights hard against everything exactly like at the start.

And that start was way too conservative, i get not wanting to shower or even change in front of others but simply wearing a normal bikini in front of her son is taboo.

At the start the characters were fine but they gradually get worse as time goes on until you cant stand them any more, from Patricia's bragging to just about every adult male character being a disgusting creep.

The base story from what i can gather is just a normal wife and mother going about her normal day in ridiculously over the top detail and while its well done it's also incredibly incredibly boring, unfortunately the rest of the writing/story where any of the really interesting stuff happens is badly done from the Aiden situation who is for some reason more protected than the president which leaves you so frustrated that you don't even want to play the game to Ellie who after nearly overdosing her brother is told simply don't do that again(yes nearly killing a family member is not enough to get the MC to tell off her daughter or her friends who helped do it but she sure will get angry if the son looks at her for too long).

There are choices but apart from see non-sex scene or not they don't seem to do anything but add points to stats that again don't do anything, for example my current "filthy" score is 43 but MC hasn't done anything filthy, same with "lesbian" or any character "stat"

milking game.. so much waste of time.. NO logic at all.. just the renders are amazing but you can't get a hot scene like genuinely.. its been 8 yrs and the dev hesitates even to make undressed the main character.. the dev only knows to create each update in such way that no one can neither bored nor fullfil the expectations and keep them stick towards the game. i won't suggest this game to anyone

What a pity — this game feels effectively dead.
It started with an interesting, evergreen story. While not entirely original, it was very well executed. The characters were likable, and the initial eroticism, presented through teasing, worked nicely.


Over time, however, the game introduced many new characters but failed to meaningfully develop any of them. Promising storylines were left unfinished.


At this stage, with virtually no adult elements (no well-represented sex scenes) and only a handful of “in-game days” delivered over the course of a year, it’s clear that there’s little commitment to continuing character and story development.


On top of that, the game is cluttered with so-called choices that add nothing of value and instead frustrate players, since missing the “right path” means missing all new content.


In the end, what a mess. The developer failed to follow the approach of successful peers who managed to deliver a coherent and satisfying outcome.

the best update in the latest releses, I really love it and i hope for the next update. Developer give us more. Also the new ai animation its so hot and give and extra vibe to the story. The dialoges makes wet and the caracters make me explode

The developer is a complete and utter failure, unable to come up with anything beyond the milking stage in 8 years! In all that time, the plot has remained at the prologue/first part of the game!!! A bunch of characters were added for one update, and then they're forgotten. Basically, don't waste your time on this incompetent!

It’s a game that has aged very poorly, the story has no direction and it’s not slow burning at all, it’s just slow. This is supposed to be a recommendation, but after playing it twice, I would have really appreciated it if someone had told me this before, so here you go: don’t play it, not worth it.

I have to say this is my first game ever from that kind. I was in love with Sophia from the beggining. Your art work is truly amazing. Not only images but that 3d renders as well. The story ofcourse is porn logic but i like it very much. Missing more content with Sam and that mafia guy. And with all female frends. Hope you will go on with the story and update more cos i cant wait. Btw i play from the beggining every week, traing all choises.

It has been going on for years without anything happening, it has improved its graphic and animation quality, but it plays with people, in a year there are at most 3 scenes, and it is one that seems like something is going to happen but nothing happens, and back to the same thing, the game came out in September 2020, 5 years and nothing has happened ... it seems to me to take advantage of the people who contribute to the game, I understand that it goes on sometimes and so on, but 5 years? It seems like a joke to me and wanting to live at the expense of doing nothing while maintaining expectations, if the creator had integrity and true passion for what he does, he would make an interesting work that would move forward, finish and start another, of course he has talent, but he uses it abusively.

This game deserves 5 star. I've been playing this game for more than 5 years and it never disappointed me. Alright progress in out of wedlock relations were very slow but I knew it was a promising game. Actually, on the other hand, this slow progress made this game more desirale than the others in a way. Especially the MC is one the most beautiful woman among the other congeneric games. That last kiss with Dylan is just so real, I've never seen a real kiss like this in this kind of games lately. Keep up with the good work.

Review after P2 - 0.225:

I rated the game 4/5 before now it is 5/5. Animations, storytelling, everything was perfect from perspective of a young wife and mother. Incredible process of emotional conflicts and excitement and unmeasurable joy of forbidden fruit.

My critic relating to update frequency is still valid though. L&P, If you are reading this, you are amazing. I like the slow-burnt development but just try to speed up production please. 4 updates per year is ideal and trust will draw more paid-subscribers.

Old Review:

This is one of my favourite games. I know no better games with a female protagonist to be honest. It started with a realistic storyline and evolved into something "a little less realistic and controversary" but this is totally fine because I can't image how things could get hotter otherwise. Probably, you already know that there is still no sex with any characters (other than husband) in game but definetely there are many incidents that will get you excited for the next updare of the game. This game perfectly processes the temptation of exhibition, cheating, corruption and blackmail dynamics in a school setting and if it is your thing, you will be drawn to it. There are not many games out there with this quality.

On the down side, this game gets an update or two per year, and it will probably be never finished. But, that is perfectly okay, it leaves a lot for your imagination.

A Wife and Mother is a game with a solid concept and engaging potential, but the biggest drawback is the long wait for updates. The development pace is so slow that it becomes frustrating, making it hard for players to stay invested in the story over time.

I very enjoy plot and art style. Hope for more action with jenitor in a future update. and wait at the moment when she will be corrupt at the point to have sex/bj with someone else. Maybe more with Dylan will be ok. And its sad you need to play game few times to see all scane, and sometimes close even hole plot, like with Ayasha and her simbian, when you go with other path. Very good game i will love to see more naughty scance or cam angle.

I followed this game for about 2 or 3 years, at that time it had been out for maybe 3 or 4 years. The truth is I had high expectations, but it just got boring. The wait times for updates are long and the story progress is minimal. I recently replayed it wondering how much it could have progressed and I realized that in all this time the protagonist's breasts were groped and there was a cumshot on her tits... in short, the progress was minimal lol so draw your own conclusions... if you're looking for a game that takes a long time to update and has minimal progress, this is your game. The current renders aren't bad, but they're not the best either. In short, a game that could be interesting is wasted.

TLDR: On the corruption path there's no sex. 8 years after the initial release and the lewdest the MC gets is giving a total of two handjobs. As a fan of FMC corruption, I had high hopes. But the ridiculously slow burn, essentially no sex, poor story and other issues pulls the game down despite the hot girls.

So, come back in another 8 years when hopefully the game has sex on the corruption path.

Positives:

• Generally beautiful characters with outstanding bodies! Only issue is that the MCs face is just mediocre and every other girl is more beautiful.
• Above-average quality renders.
• The daughter is super hot!
• Blackmail leading to corruption.
• Classroom exhibitionism, groping, etc. with the boys in her class.
• In season 2 there are a few good animations (for the extremely few erotic scenes).
• MC can watch 2 of the class boys blackmail their super hot classmate girl into a threesome. The hottest thing in the game.

Negatives:

• On the corruption path in the entire game the MC has 0 sex. Zero. No penetration, not even a BJ. She only gives a handjob!
• A stupid amount of text. Completely unnecessary. So much, you'll likely be frustrated and skip a lot.
• Extremely slow progression. Fans might want to call it "slow burn" but this is just shockingly slow. E.g. it takes around 15 hours of playtime before you even get to just see any girl's nipples!
• Blueballing! Taken to an extreme level. Whenever finally some hot action might happen there's an interruption, husband comes home etc.
• MC's face looks like she's drunk and tired.
• The story feel contrived, ridiculous and repetitive. Especially the MC is written in a very strange way, as if she even being slightly attracted to a man would make her a huge slut and it would be so bad. Over and over the same situation happens. It's a repetition of a story in which Sophie is some supposed virtuous and innocent woman that feels incredibly guilty if a man/boy touches her shoulder/hair etc.
• Even just saying the word dick is outrageous for the MC and this goes on for an extremely long time. You have to play for like 20 hours before she can even say it.
• Most other female character has a prettier face than the FMC (Sophia).
• Extremely often there are forced breaks, black screens. I had to install the special mod to make the "hard pause" optional but even then it's still annoying. (Some devs think this is cinematic or something?)
• More clichéd story moments. E.g. the gym shower is somehow a "communal" shower for both men and women and the MC doesn't know that, is seen naked by men. Huge disaster of course. Sigh.
• The text isn't centered so you'll be looking at the bottom-left corner all the time.
• Too much lesbian focus. The only reason I went for the lesbian scenes is because I was concerned I'd otherwise miss threesomes or other sex content with the daughter. And you need these lesbian scenes to get more filthy points.
• The game sometimes makes corrupting Sophia unattractive, which is annoying. E.g. the colleague Mr. Bennet is such an unlikeable asshole that I even accepted the "good wife" points instead of continuing anything with him.
• Weak corruption, extremely vanilla and boring. Few hot scenes in general.
• Suddenly this innocent family is involved with the mafia. Stupid plot.
• Exclusive paths that are difficult to figure out and you miss a lot of scenes even with a walkthrough mod. (I'm not into replaying AVNs.)
• Sometimes you're suddenly playing as the husband or the son instead of the MC.
• Repetitive inner monologue. Every time the player choose to not react negatively to a touch, nudity, etc. the inner monologue is always "why am I not saying anything?! What am I doing?". Every time.
• In S1 there's essentially no animations to speak of.
• Technical writing issues (incorrect words, spelling, sentence structure).

Context: I always choose maximum corruption. And preferring hetero over lesbian when it's exclusive choice. Version played 0.220.

Bad development cycle, very little content and lying dev. Better stay away from this. Though renders are good, but not worth your time, which is far more precious, look elsewhere for better quality game that respect your time. GLHF.

Great game, good story, good visuals. Sadly game development is really slow causing you to loose track of the progress. An overview of all the story paths would be nice. Otherwise this game offers tons of options and different topics/genres.

The story is very well made. The dialogues and choices are very well thought through. Also, the renders are amazing. Very well done! This game is one of the best Ren'Py games around.
The game gets a lot of hate but to be honest, it is so much better than the alternatives right now. Considering the popularity the game has, I suppose updates should come quicker, as the creator should have funds to invest in the game fully. But the game itself is fantastic.

Due to development being slow, the player loses context. Every time, we have to get started from understanding the long forgotten story and the sexuality or suspense of the game has decreased over time. Content is good quality but the story line is heavily and over worded.

I wont be like L&P to drag this for way too long - let's keep it simple: game is honestly a blueballing, dollar milking, boring festival.
I'm giving it 2/5 stars just for the visuals. Nothing more.
The plot is so dragged on on many branches (which would not be a problem if the updates were regular like 2-3 months max) which means the DEV doesnt know how to plan well. That's why it's been years since this game was started and players got only bare bones of satisfaction.
Game mechanics of "Good wife vs Filthy"has little to no effect on MC.
For all people who like gradual sex progression as a result of good writing i.e. story development - go elsewhere. You wont find it in this game.
However if you like that constant tension buildup ending with blueballing, this game is perfect for you cuck personality. You may also subscribe and donate to that L&P slimebag who milks fans for $ for this crap as if it was AAA game (charging $30 or more for stupid teaser render picture lol)
When his subscribers realize they're being made fools of, and start cutting back support, maybe - just maybe, then the L&P will actually start putting real effort into making this game worth supporting and all the hype it currently has.
Incenton dev team has way better games than this which deserve support.

What a joke. The game is just a tease with zero action. Hours of reading only to see a boob if your lucky. The choices don't really matter considering the results are just a peek of a boob or non peek of a boob. Super disappointment !
