VN - Ren'Py - A Wife and Mother [v0.220] [Lust & Passion]

This is such a boring game. I like games that don't shove the sexual content down your throat but this game has like zero erotic scenes. I gave up after the GYM shower scene, where you don't see a single nipple or a vag or anything that is sexy. Roblox has more nudity than this game.

The good: Animation and model are superb. Story is engaging and immersive.

The bad: this game is the definition of a slow burner. We,re almost a year in and so far there almost no sexual encounter available.

The ugly: This slow burn will and already is turning down a lot of players. A lot of people here are calling the Dev a scam artist by purposely slowing the came to a crawl as a way to milk more money out of his patrons. time will tell if they are right.

Excellent game. The good points to highlight are its graphics and well-crafted scenes, its narrative is in the third person and its main character is female, but above all I value that there is a natural flow in the storyline, that maintains the suspense, I mean, not there are hasty sexual scenes. Another point to rescue is its game based on intuitive and linear options, which do not generate confusion.

I jest. I like the effort put into the renders. I don't see many devs convincingly show one butt cheek slick with suntan oil and the other not. I like the narrative voice and fluent writing. I enjoy corruption games a ton, so slower-paced and more convincing progression is great, which this game has.

I do take issue with the abundance of Hobson's Choices; I love me some well-done romance and occasionally drag out the inevitable while playing NTResque games if I like the hubby, but many of the earlier two-option dialogs in this game come across as "CLICK THIS FOR THE PORN YOU DOWNLOADED THE GAME FOR" vs "WTF ARE YOU HERE?", particularly the ones that show their stat effects.

<minor gripe>If you go through with fewer early lesbian tension choices then ogle the cleaner, the shift in Sophia's thinking is jarring and out-of-nowhere. Maybe have Hornball Sis or Daisy Dukes The Neighbor drop hints about college experiments?</gripe>

TLDR: Good content, good art, keeping an eye on it.

A great game. Very nice renders quality and artwork. Awesome and realistic characters. Sweet teasing and hints from future events.
Very painstaking author work. Direction every scenes almost perfect, and very interesting to reading. Awesome story just beginning.

The best VN I have played so far. The moderate pace is not for everyone (I hope it will stay this way and the dev won't rush into inconsistency), but prefer it to ridiculous dialogues and story development. Finally there is a VN with somewhat believable story and not each scene has sexual character, which increases the immersion. The characters are beautiful and differently written. The decisions give paths do different scenes, which are smoothly integrated into the story. The only problem is, that finishing the game will take for ever and patreon will likely try to shut it down.

to much reading the pages and not enough to steer the path of characters. got boring quick.
try adding different paths. for 2 gig download you expect action sexually...

Opinions and thoughts after playing v0.0775.

Pros

• Beautiful renders.
• Simplistic but thought out and organised plot.
• Realistic: Slow pace, story driven, characters act and react sensibly.
• Convincing but gorgeous models: No milfs with huge tits and bubble butt, their beauty is "natural". Not that abnormally big tits are necessarily a problem but in a game like this they'd be ridiculous.
• Diversity: Player has freedom to roam through the different paths of the game and enjoy the content they want.

Cons

• Last update(0.0775) had an unusual amount of grammatical mistakes on the dialogues. Felt like the dev rushed through them.
• Slow updates, not much content.
• Too many paths and with the pace that the game's being released the follow-up on all of these paths seems uncertain.

I don't think the problem with this game is that it doesn't have many sex scenes yet, that's due to the pace the story's unfolding and I appreciate these kinds of games. I admit, I might be a bit biased with this game because I love voyeurism, teasing, ENF and that sort of thing. Although the dev could give people a little bit more lewdity by implementing some kind of achievements system with sexy pictures for rewards.

The problem is the pace the game's being released. 15 minutes of gameplay per 2 months ain't gonna cut it and I feel this great game is so unfairly sinking because of that. If the dev gave people faster updates with more content we'd probably be on the serious sex stuff already. Impatience turns to anger which turns to disappointment and disinterest and with that complain I can agree with.

It has excellent renders and attractive characters with a compelling story, but it's way too slow of a burn. So far there's basically no sexual content other than some dry rubbing through clothes, so at this rate there will be hand jobs in 2019, oral sex in 2020 and maybe actual sex in 2021.

If a woman expected me to be that patient I'd have long ago kicked her to the curb.

finally a different game, sometimes with a female MILF MC and such a versatile story, which has so many possibilities to develop in so many different directions. Almost anything can happen but it doesn't have to be the end is completely open

This is by far one of the best games I have played. Warning, the game has a slow pace with almost zero nude content. However, I find the story captivating. To enjoy the game to its fullest, I'd suggest to binge play couple of updates rather than play every update.

Edit: I rated it 5 stars initially. But after going through couple of updates, I am forced to change my rating to 1star. I find the developer's method unprofessionall. He lacks integrity. I'll change my rating again after the game is completed.

okay i guess this is the type of game which tries to build things slowly and realistic. and yeah i admit the dev really puts attention to set up different scenes not use the same 3 images for thousand of words. yeah yeah its all great, except the only problem is that the writing SUCKS. which for what he is trying is FUNDAMENTAL. with other games (90%) where the writing is shit, it aint that huge of a deal, since dialogue isnt that much and isnt the focus and it serves the basic purpose to advance the plot (which is shitty as the dialogue) so you can get to the sex scenes. with this game problem is, its text heavy and there are no sex scenes.

i wanted to shoot myself on the intro. but i said come on thats not fair. well sorry but i endured it until day 2. then just skipped until the end to see if there is a sex scene.

Porn games are better when the characters are fleshed out, have actual motivations, and their actions are at least somewhat sensible. The build up and atmosphere that comes with the development makes the payoff much more satisfying.

This game tries to do that and is mostly succeeding so far. Yes, that means the pacing is slower, and that it's an in-development game only makes that fact much more noticeable. But, it should be worth it.

If patience is not your forte or you insist upon instant gratification, simply wait until the game is at least a few more updates deep before touching it.

That is not to say there is no titillating content of any kind in each update, but rather, so far, it's usually of a more subtle, atmospheric and teasing variety instead of outright pornography. The latter is on the way but, with a few exceptions, it's not here yet (as of 0.04) and is still being built up to.

Great story, excellent renders, I really like this game and I hope that I will continue to develop as well. I keep my fingers crossed so that updates appear regularly and your work goes smoothly. Unlike most games published here, this story really has meaning and is addictive. I like the possibility of choosing a path and playing with a woman.

Love the subtle seduction route of this game. A good wife and filthy wife paths. With lesbian that can be played in either path. Plus the ability to choice who she interacts with sexually is a big plus. It's building as a erotic seduction novel at first setting stage for sexual interplay. All with the path and characters you choose. It's a great change up compared to big cock does everyone games. And the great graphics fit the text and as does your choice of responses. May not be everyone's game but i find it a great change up from playing others.

One of the few games with a female protagonist who is not dumb as a stump. I like that she is in control of her decisions and the direction she wants to go in and is not forced, drugged, possessed, blackmailed, etc. Also, so far, while all the men and boys seem to be attracted to Sophia, they are not into humiliation and domination and assuming all women should be sluts.

I don't mind those games, but it is nice to have a game that borders on realistic. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of things in this game that are not realistic, but this developer at least tries to make the characters with more realistic behaviors.

I am amazed at all the renders. There are frames for walking from the car to the house or turning off a light. The dev could probably have cut a lot of those and still had a strong game, but I am glad he did not.

I find it interesting that I enjoyed the game as much as I did and yet on my path she has not had sex of any kind yet. It is a nice change and I am looking forward to more releases.

UPDATE: Okay... the dev continues to introduce new characters and potential situations without seeming to move the story forward. It's been 2 years since I wrote the initial review and still no fapping content to speak of...

So, I took notice of this game at 0.1 and I was intrigued by the game but decided to postpone my try of it until now. First of all, the game is gorgeous all of the pictures are amazing and I'm very impressed, I saw a a lot of games but none had such good quality. Secondly, the writing is good and not what I was expecting, I saw some comets that were talking about this game as Dual Family 2.0 and I can see why, the lack of sexual content can turn some people of and tedious progression of the plot is a problem in both games but due to good writing in this game the slow advancement feels right, as for Dual Family the writing is not good and the slow progression is irritating. Finally, I think this game has a lot of promise and I'll be looking to future updates.

Features amazing imagery that are filled with activity and character. The slower pace works thanks to the creative scenarios for the characters to progress through. Plenty of choices and branching gives the game replayability.

This author has set out a very large canvas of possibilities for this story line. This could be good or bad. Sometimes I don't like when a game feels like it loses focus on the parts I like the most, because there are too many opportunities to account for.

With that said, the quality of the images and setting are fantastic.

The mother (the main perspective) is a bit too skiddish at this point in the early story. Her inner monologue would initially make you think she cannot possibly be the person an adult gamer wants her to be. However, her inner conflict does technically reveal the mannerisms which set her apart from a "normal" minded mother.

I believe the pieces are in place for this to be a very exciting game when it begins to unfold and explore the paths that have been penned so far.

5 stars because the quality. Even without truly in depth "adult" content yet, the settings and scenarios are very appealing to me personally.

This game is really good and i found that by accident really. Good renders, nice main character, choices that matter and story is being told in a good way with really big amount of renders in one scene. So far scenes are mostly a big tease but done in a way that keep things interesting. Although i will agree with others that Sophie looked better before barber stuff done. Also wow i think thats the first game where main character change clothes like a normal human everyday.

Edit 2019 - 06 - 07 - Changing my 5 start to 2 stars after my first review that happened in apr 25, 2018 because since this time in my opinion game didn't go that far when it comes to progress to overall story and Sophia, the main character.

Every update was taking these really little and tiny steps of progress, then some events took it back like 3 steps and the reasoning for some of them was really awful(Example - MC Sophia being ashamed of wearing a bikini around her son).

When it comes to quality, this game is still one of the best, but when it comes to actual content and character progression, it didn't go that far.
You still feel like nothing happened after this long time since the game started, not even talking about sex scenes but overall erotic content.

The updates covering one full day went to half a day, but that doesn't mean updates are released faster, they still take a long time but provide less content.

Ending words - 2 stars for the quality, because it's really good, but i can't even push it to 3, because the game feels empty progression wise and it's a long time since the first version was released.
