Ok, I'm finally at the point where he's reading her old texts and figuring out he's been a twat about everything, though even here there is just... so little introspection... so little actual genuine care for his wife... Her bestie that's gotten her into so much trouble still feels like she care more about his wife (from her weird extreme headspace) then he does. Her abuser at the camp feels like he doesn't treat her as badly as the MC - sure, he objectifies, assaults, corrupts, and belittles her... but he doesn't wrap her up in that whole toxic incel-

Anyway, not trying to shitpost. This game is in a weird place. It has some of the best and crispest art out there. The interface is super-functional and largely bug-free. The antagonists are good antagonists. The wife is just simply adorable and I enjoy the sweet parts of her as much as all the terrible things happening to her. So I really DO want to like this game, and honestly the one singular only thing in it that keeps holding me back is the MC I am supposed to identify with.

So, question, if the devs are on here. If I committed to support this game on patreon for say... at least 3 months. (can't say much longer 'cause there's other games and if we didn't all keep flipping between what games we supported there'd be like 5 devs ever making bank instead of everyone getting 'some' money) Or if a few of us committed to 3 months. Given how the only constant theme of 'what I hate about this game' in this whole comments section is always 'the MC sucks'. Is there a chance of just pausing new features and just re-writing him so he's not... such a horrible horrible human being? Where her getting assaulted against her will seems like it would be the high-point of her day, not because 'she discovers she likes rape' but because it buys her a few minutes away from his passive-aggressive narcisistic sociopathic crap? Just the content up until he reads her emails and his brain starts braining again - even if in a mind-controlled 'this is hot' manner

He can be evil and just keep going along with it because he finds it hot, or because of competition w/ the other dude and self-interest. Totally fine, love evil, can see why he cheats on her throughought all this.
He can be sweet, and just never quite know how to talk to his wife about it and it hurts him inside. Totally fine, that's hot, explains why she cares for him and they just don't communicate well.
He can be mind-controlled, kick that shit into high-gear early and show that he's reacting weird for the same reasons as her, future brain-magic stuff, 'oh I know she is doing it and I want to try harder to stop her but .. brain.. so hot..'.
Just... not this whiny self-centered blind passive-aggressive 'I don't even want to see her', 'my wife is being assaulted I should leave her', BS.

True or maybe they can while finishing this game out create the same game like a stronger MC mail instead of being a cuck beta where you get to choose how the story progressives given that it doesn't change the dynamic of the story now just opens alternate routes pathways started just making the game playing cut and dry just like watching a p*** movie or reading the story unfold

For example I've played a few games where it had an original version that is game that spins the game further and further down as it goes throwing a new little pathway or at beginning to choose your path or you can do something like corruption or loyalty points system which directs How The Story Goes

yea.. the two certainly have parallels.. that one's strength is that you kinda like the MC throughout. there's a lot of branches that kinda run over each other, and after the last update the game theme is a bit broken (more on that in that game's threads), but you are able to like the MC. He and his wife start in a descent place. And you can tell a lot of what's happening is because he's just got horny-brain (which I'm still hoping will be explained away by future-mind-control-magic eventually to make it make More sense). But he never feels... I don't know... icky I guess. Like.... damn, I tried to find a good equivalent example, even googled it, and couldn't find anyone with less redeeming qualities beyond the red-head dude from Megamind... but even that guy at least has some humor to him. I mean, I do Know people like that in real life, its not unrealistic, but I avoid them like the plague they are.

Like, there's this very hot dialog in this game where he's just finished reading her emails, goes through the fantasy that she'll become a camp whore. Evil? Yes. Hot? Totally yes. And then he follows it up with "They forced her to cheat on me ... I can forgive her for everything she was forced to do". Just... what? Seriously, what did I just read? Wtf? I'm not cherry picking, it just happens to be the screen I am on. Still, at least it seems to be getting better from there, sanity wise, just the content up to this scene could use some love


[EDIT] damnit... I was just about to edit my review to add a star because, after that hot mess up until they finally talk, they were all pretty reasonable. Slightly hacky on the whole 'you're in debt now' bit but whatever. And even the forced scene was hot and made sense his reaction with all the hypno videos he's been watching. Aaaaaaaaaaand turns around and goes 'I can't even sleep next to her' blaming her and wanting to slip meds into her food. Just... freaking seriously? You wanna go dark and get off on her torment, rock on, there's no real evil in games and fiction 'cause its fiction. You wanna be heartbroken she's been assaulted, totally, she's adorable, I feel for her too. But nope, right back in the dumb-brain headspace that makes me wanna shake the monitor. *sigh* please let him be normal in the next update, at least by porn standards, please.. pretty please...

Good idea. But why steal drugs. If everyone forgot, remember at the beginning of the game the main character receives an advertisement for an Alpha male. I think he will use this advertisement. And what effect will it have on the main character? (After all, the gun hanging on the wall must fire someday.)

edit: most likely the dev will take the "i was too drunk to remeber" emergency exit, and the wife will assume her cumfilling was from the MC during the night whily she was drunk asleep, but suddenly feels a growing urge to fuck black cocks.
She will defenetly not become mad and quit her friendship with her bestie when she shows her what really happened that night.
That would be common sense, and we can't have that here.

I also wonder what the MC's wife's friend can tell and show. After all, according to the text, no matter how they influenced the wife with spam, she remained steadfast and even changed for the better. She refused the MC's boss. She did not give in to Rick's harassment. She became much colder to Samuel. No matter how bad the sex with her husband was, she still loves him and does not want to cheat on him.

I didn’t liked that his wife got rape bro. Autumn and Samuel said that she wanted it but she was drunk and couldn’t think straight, that pretty much count as rape. I know we only saw a little bit from her POV but based on what we saw, she was saying no but who knows we didn’t see all of it. Honestly I wish we could see from Samuel or Autumn POV to see what actually happened cuz we only seeing bits and pieces

They should've called this game the migrant camp or create 2 game same characters and plot but you can choose how story progresses through corruption and loyalty point system also between alpha and beta male mc

I pitched that idea while back pov from multiple different characters to get fuller picture of everything and it doesn't effect how they doing mc because he only getting fraction of the picture

Game is not bad but i just hope that Dev will create paralel paths with different outcomes and not only one forced story.
If i assume correctly from what i experienced the game is already prepared for more paths just for now to entertain and gain patreons of course only one direction gets progressed until a point.
For me also the Mom NTR could get spared....better to involve a sister or a cousin or ex girlfriend....but i know somehow u must serve the MILF fans...but thats also possible without put them as MC's mother

I just played through the latest update on multiple paths and it would seem this game is trying to compete with "A Wifes's Phone" to see which one can go downhill quicker.

Choices mean almost absolutely nothing. I mean if you want to make a VN fine make a VN but don't call it a game.

Oh and almost forgot. I get its fiction and a story but nobody and I mean nobody would be as stupid and retarded as this MC.

Sorry to ramble on about this but the writing also. It would be one thing if it was good writing but it's like it was written by someone who is brain dead. And you can't really talk about game mechanics because for the most part there are none.

I know its not just me. In most of the reviews I've read that have criticism. It would seem people make the same points that I am making.

And nothing against the cellphone games. The first was a fresh idea. Now its just like copies of the same thing over and over except the quality gets worse.

I mean hope some people are enjoying it. I just think its a waste of your time and a time sink at this point.

Well and then there are the texts. Yeah your wifes friend is going to send you pics of her getting tossed up and be like "oops it was an accident. And all these people texting him more or less accidentally telling him what they or someone else did and then the MC is like is hmm thats strange.

The plot with the boss, okay you go out drinking with your boss (we'll skip the other fantastical stuff at the boss' office) and he sits there and tells you he's sorry for sleeping with your wife but he couldn't help himself and the MC doesn't knock him out and continues to work there. Then the whole, Henry tells him the boss set him up and he owes the boss 100k for a business he didn't start and wasn't his.

And now after all that the MC decides he's going to get turned on by his Mom "slutting it up"
