It's a plot device added by the dev/writer to help the reader/player understand the game. Your slippery slope of a justification isn't rational for a reader to use. By that explanation there is literally nothing the dev could install for the reader to see that could not be debunked. How Bella came upon this information is irrelevant to helping the reader understand the plot and story dynamics. You're being stubborn to accept the devs method to inject story information is only hurting yourself.

One can just as easily say that any chemist the dev could magically write in to explain something could also be a blatant lie. The dev used an easy way to help the reader understand a concept and you refuse to believe it is true when everything in the story suggests it's true? I believe and trust Bella waaay more than I trust the hacker who helped the MC install spy software, and he is one of the few characters that has been generally trustworthy, but I still don't trust him.

I was simply pointing out that you yourself admit that this is a mind control game at its entire core. The fact that you are willing to accept hypno videos in this games universe as valid but not a mind altering drug as valid until proven is just wild to me. Because mind controlling videos are further from reality than actual mind altering drugs are from a possible reality.

The dev is also intentionally using everyday denial and justification excuses in his characters explanations throughout the story intentionally because just like you, the MC and other charaters are trying to rationalize their behaviors and thoughts based on their understanding that no such chemical and video technology exists in their universe either, it's the dev trying to replicate genuine human reactions to their own denial of impossible technology.

But again, the fact that you are plainly unwilling to accept a fact in a games universe as truth until the games creator breaks the 4th wall and spells in plain language, and continue to believe what you want, is only hurting your own story experience. That's on you I guess. I've done what I can to explain it, you are just gonna believe what you want to believe from an inherantly Mind controlled based story.
What is the point of giving Captain America serum if he can only do things a normal human being can do? What's the point of giving the wife a mind control drug if she only does things that a normal woman who doesn't have respect for her marriage would do. I never said it was a mind control game at it's core. I said it's "undeniably a mind control game" when I shouldn't have what I should have said is it involves mind control but it doesn't do it very well. The use of mind control is redundant as far as the wife and mother are concerned.

I reiterate how it's impossible to explain things to some people I guess because you've missed the point. How about I give Captain America a new serum that makes him inherently evil worse than Thanos, worse than red skull or hitler himself. The point of the drug in this game isn't to make humans do things they are not already capable of or any other human isn't already capable of. The point is this chemical makes people unable to do anything except submit to sexual urges and turns them into something they never were. No one ever said anything about this stuff making people do things they are incapable of doing. I brought up super heroes as a broad example in my earlier example, which you promptly mutated to fit your own narrative. Please just go play something else. This games concepts are too much for you to comprehend and now you are approaching harassment status by continuing to argue about what you think the story is in your own mind.

My whole point is that mind control in this game is used in a manner that is redundant. I brought up Captain America because you brought up The Avengers so therefore I was thinking about him therefore I used him and his character details as an example. That's not a mutation it was just me using the character as an example. Also if you think having a conversation with someone you disagree with is harassment then maybe don't start conversations with people you disagree with.

Well I didn't start this conversation. You pinged me. I'm fine with having a conversation, but it's difficult when someone keeps moving the goal post and ignoring points. I guess it's not very unsimilar to the MC in that he refuses to believe things even when people give him clear evidence of things.

Well you weren't asked about it I suppose but thanks for the straight "no" ping out of no where with zero input or thought. So you can move along then since you seem to not want to be here right?
