True, but D3sire actually gives a shit about their story, unlike others, so if it turns out
bad it won't be for a lack of trying. Hopefully. They are just dealing with a whole lot more
variables that most lazy writers would just ignored doing and just copy and paste from
another title. From evertihing I know, the intention here is to make the main characters
and storyline more complex and fleshed out. To get there takes time and a lot of re tracing
code and connecting paths and bug hunting. The visuals might be Ai but the writing and
conceptualizing isn't. And even with Ai, weeding out inconsistency takes an annoooying
amount of time hahaha

I totally agree with you, pretty girl! But I'm personally confused by the lack of feedback. A developer could have written at least a few lines in such a long time . That he's alive at least) The story is not bad, but in the beginning a lot of games look good. Even "the life of a wife" began intriguingly, and then... But at least kerosene talked to subscribers there. But here it seemed that the game was dead.

I want to see a great game but once or twice a month update from the dev would keep people happy. Look at BaDik its now 13 months for an update but with weekly updates and the dev talking to folks no one really complains.

I am 100 percent for supporting a project that I like as long as I get some feedback at a semi regular basis. I currently give 6 developers a payment every month. But if they go silent and dont show anything I can move my funds to others that give periodic updates. I dont mind if the project is behind schedule or ahead of it. But just a short here is where we are every 2-3 weeks will keep me paying. I have supported others in the past that went dark and nothing happened and still supported and the project and suddenly the game was dead. After no communication for months. Honest open communication as we want to see in this game play between characters is also needed between developers and their supporters.

But you got and saw the message didn't you? This is what I mean by Patreon entitlement.
Either you're supporting a project because you like it and want it to succeed or you are just
throwing money at it for piece of illusionary ownership that some let you get away with.
Majority verses minority. The majority of people are here. They will get to Patreon in time.
You would think Patreon people would be the patient ones, but noooo hahaha
Either they are working on the game or they are talking to you. If they don't have
a dedicated PR team or that person is the one that's sick....

As i stated i currently support 6 games. 3 of them give updates weekly or bi weekly and talk to folks on their discords. 1 gives updates weekly but is rarely on discord. Two dont give updates often but post on sites like this.
If I had not joined these sites recently I would not know they were still working on them. Not asking for a novel like DPC post every week but a short update would be great. But I like those two games so i continue to pay.

In a perfect world where a developer has active moderators and PR people
you would get a constant flow of information. If the people literally making the game or story
have to stop to do it themselves it costs time. Your money gets burned. So what do you want?
Them stopping to talk to you or them focusing on finishing their project?

You want information. That's understandable. But this is pure Patreon entitlement.
Reality is the masses of people who can sink or carry this project are here. So this
"how dare you" attitude... We're paying Patreon so we should come first, be heard first,
dictate everything...

How about doing what I do and go around the forum selling the game to new people.
Through comments and posts and general support. See to your investment.
I'm not paid and would happily volunteer to PR this project.

My only point is if they can post a message on a site like this they could take 5 mins and do the same for those that are financially supporting what they are doing. If you call that patreon bias so be it. But as ive said i just recently joined this page due to folks telling me that this page gives more info from some developers.

and yes ive made many postive post here, and have talked to others on discord about this game. So its not just me “bitching” or feeling “entitled”

As ive said I pay for 3 small devlopers games none of these 3 bring in over 500-1000 a month. I also support 3 large devlopers . And of the 3 small one it post more to patreon than the 3 big developers. And hell one of the big developers I half teased him about one icon looking like a famous comedian and not the character and they changed that icon and put out an update with that change and a few other minor bug repairs.


i want to see this game make it and be different than other games like this.
