I think it is far more common to dislike what is happening to the character you are playing as then to see yourself in a random "villain" assuming the cucker is even a "villain" a lot of NTR shit the cucker is seen as being, stronger, bigger, blacker, more alpha.

I'm sure some people feel the way you described, heaven only knows how many rabid anti-lolicon keyboard warriors are only so mad because they are actual pedos. but i highly doubt it's the norm, i would assume your average NTR hater either dislikes the idea of being cheated on, or being the "beta male" with the amount of people on this site i have seen preaching Andrew tate/liver king alpha male bullshit i'm gonna say the latter is the most popular reason people hate NTR.
