VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Above the Clouds [v0.75] [Mundo Games]

The humour in this is so incredibly well written, the sound effects, the scenes, it's all brilliant. One of, if not the best game out there in terms of comedy. Almost makes you forget you're trying to jerk off, but then on top of that the art is so incredibly well done as well. Best game I've played on this site, made me comment for the first time ever, very excited for its future.

This game doesn´t takes itself seriously, so... why should the players?

It reminds me one of those terrible episodes of the lasts few seasons of "The Simpsons" (the last 15 or so), when the script-writers think "this is a parody, so the chapter doesn´t have to have any sense, only be funny, so... Anything goes!" And then, the chapter is not funny nor have sense. Or better, one of those "Looney Tones", not the classic ones, but the modern ones that seems to be made by and for children with hyperactivity syndrome.

Seriously, absurd is probably the most difficult kind of humor. Not everybody can be Groucho Marx or Tex Avery. Writing a script of parody and absurd humor, is more than adding to the story any stupidity that crosses the writer's mind.

It´s a pity, because the 3D renders are top of the business, 9,5/10, but I can´t stand the rest. If it were a serious story with characters that act as human beings and I could relate, and not like characters of, again, Looney Tunes or The Simpsons, and some funny scenes as the icing of the cake, I would give at least 4 stars, but every single character and scene being crazy and absurd... I just can´t. It´s too tiring.

I spent a lot of time trying to find fault with this game and there's a few bits and pieces in there which are odd but all in all, the effort put into the tone of the whole game and the characters really trump anything I could say which would make me downvote it.

The plot is.. erm..... peculiar. There's a high level story and a flashback story and to be honest both are kinda confusing as there's not been a lot of detail forthcoming but the sheer charm of the game is such that it's not really an issue. It's quirky without being just plain stupid.

It's silly. But it's written to be silly, it's not just that way because the dev is throwing any old shit on the screen to get the MC to the next sex scene, something you'd roll your eyes to and I think that really should be applauded because there's a lot of other games on here and by god they're roll your eyes stupid.

I haven't decided if the MC is an idiot or not yet. He sometimes says weird things that are a bit too close to being a sex pest, but I can't tell if he's an idiot or it's part of his charm. It's almost endearing. Unless he is a sex pest, but the game is still early doors so who knows.

Hoping that the developer would keep the similar progress as at the time of writing this review. This game literally one hell of gem which is must play for anyone. Though lewd Scenes till now aren't that intimate nor does they bring excitement(probably because relationship of characters are not developed in that sense not till current update ). Overall Writing is awesome, renders are awesome, models are awesome, and what not. Thnx dev for this amazing game

Man this game is an absolute blast. Granted right now only 0.3a is available but its exhilarating from start till end. The jokes land perfectly which is very rare, story is entertaining as it doesn't take itself too seriously. Sex animations (4) are gorgeous to watch especially BJ scene just amazing. Not to mention the sound effects were perfect & helped to build ambience especially during comedic scenes(I still remember 1st time Hannah calls us onichan & I couldn't hold myself back & laughed out loud as I wasn't expecting to literally hear it) This VN has great potential & I wish the Dev all the very best as of right now they are taking steps in the correct direction & hope they continue to do so in the future updates

Well, thats the funniest game on F95 ive played so far! Hella good!
The pace is fine, the girls coulve been just a little bit curvier ;p but in general - 3 of them a 10/10.

Very nice, funny game.
Writing is good and funny and silly, story is fine so far (partly a standard incest setup, but done much better then usual).

LIs are interesting, MC might not be exceptionally likeable but nice enough to be relatable (a bit of an imbecile form time to time).

Some models are very pretty, renders are good, lewd contents is fine.

Not sure about why it is so highly rated.
It's not a bad game. But nothing extra either.
The story telling is slightly different from other games that's for sure. It reminds me of some of the old looney toones cartoon, with similar sound effects and interactions.
It has some humorous scenes, but some of it feels like it's from a straight from a sitcom (not in the most positive sense).
Models aren't bad, not the generic ones seen in other games.
If you are bored and there are no better games it's worth a play. But don't expect it to mirror the ratings given here (i did go in with high expectations because of the ratings and was little disappointed) .

I wish I could give this six stars just for the humor. It's already 5/5 just with the story, renders, and animations. Each character is likeable in their own way (especially Mia and Hannah, holy shit). Looking forward to more!

This game accomplish one of the goals that every writer try to reach: Memorable Characters. They are dinamic and feel alive, i kinda care for them.
The writing is incredibly charismatic and fun with a goofy-funny style.
I love the Dad character (usually avoided and/or wasted in another VN Ren´Py). And I reeeeally love the goth chick.
If i wasnt Argentinian i would donate money to this man! hahahah

I literally laughed a lot playing this, give it a go and you wont be disappointed.

The only way I can describe his game is weird but in the best way. This game doesn't have a ton of sexual content yet, but it's one of those games that doesn't really need it. The story and characters are bonkers enough to carry it on their own. When one of the first choices is to be kind or mean to a tree that the MC pissed on, you know you're in for a good time. This game is easily going into my watchlist.

wow. What a gem of a game! The way this VN is written should be a template for others. Great humor, plot, intrigue. No sandbox, annoying puzzles or endless grinding. Just a wonderful little novel with decent renders and animation. Here and there you make a decision, but for now it keeps the consequences simple and not some enormous multiverse with 245785485 different versions of the MC warring with each other. Dear developer/s keep up the good work you are doing!

Creating a translation for this game was still the right decision.

By far one of the best VN's I come across lately it has all the ingredients to help make it one of the best an engaging story with interesting characters full of humor and beautiful women, it grabbed my interest at the start and I wasn't able to stop till I reached the end, I'll be anxiously awaiting the next chapter.

I normally don't bother with a game until it's got to a certain point in development, as it's often disappointing to start getting into something and then have the old "till next time" screen pop up.

But I saw the reviews for this, and thought I'd ignore my little self imposed rule for a change, and give it a go. I was glad I did. The best thing about the game IMO is the very quirky humour, in a style I'd not previously seen in this sort of game. It's actually very refreshing, almost like a film director having a very specific and recognisable voice.

There's still a lot of questions to be answered, mostly to do with the plot, and obviously, the vast majority of the sex scenes are yet to come. But it's worth playing already only after a few updates, and I very much look forward to the expansion of it in the future.

Pretty awesome so far, I like it. The way the story is told is pretty jarring lmao but that's clearly intentional.

It's a good thing the dev is pretty funny, because holy hell, it's just an avalanche of jokes and ..like.... fucking wacky shit. Man, some people are not going to enjoy the humor and will probably fucking hate this game. But that's okay. I guess lmao.

I like the humor for the most part, but sometimes the wacky hijinks are a little overwhelming, but I never found it to be offensively bad or anything.

...but then. One of the characters steps on a twig. Inside their house. And that shit is hilarious. Idk you'll see when you get to that scene. It's probably not even actually that funny. Maybe I ruined the joke. Whatever I died tho
