Above The Law It's basically what would happen if the 1980s had a baby with your favorite hentai, and I mean that in the best way possible. The whole thing just SCREAMS retro, from the way characters are drawn (seriously, they look like they jumped straight out of an old VHS tape your parents kept in the garage) to all the neon colors that'll burn into your retinas. But like, in a good, sexy and smelly way! Art is spectacular to say the least.

And can we talk about how bonkers this game gets? Because holy moly, it goes places! You'll start off having what seems like a normal chat in some office, and before you know it, you're in the middle of this ridiculous porno scene! I'm not even kidding! The game just keeps throwing these crazy curveballs at you, and somehow it all just works. I lost count of how many times I startled my cat from laughing too loud.

But okay, the writing could use some work. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad-bad, but sometimes it feels like the story is running a marathon when it should be taking a nice jog. Characters don't always get the time they need to develop, and there are these plot threads that just kind of... vanish? Like that one sock that disappears in the dryer, you know? Plus, some of the side characters seem like they're still trying to figure out who they are. AFAIK there's been some work done here, so good to know the devs are listening. Five stars for that.

But hey, to the awesome people who made this game: you've got something really cool here! The vibes are perfect, the humor is on point, and with a bit more work on the story stuff, this could be an absolute knockout. Keep doing your thing - I'm stoked to see what you come up with next!

The story of this work is disappointingly weak, earning a mere 2 out of 10. It lacks engagement and fails to evoke any meaningful emotions or interest from the audience. The protagonist (MC) is marginally better but still falls short of being compelling, scoring a 4 out of 10. Despite some effort to make him relatable or intriguing, his development feels incomplete and uninspired.

The female protagonist (FMC), however, is the weakest link, scoring an abysmal 1 out of 10. Her character lacks depth, agency, or any qualities that would make her memorable or likable. The logic within the narrative is also deeply flawed, with events and decisions often feeling disconnected or nonsensical, resulting in another low score of 2 out of 10.

On the visual side, the art is the most redeeming feature, though it is only average, earning a 5 out of 10. While the designs are serviceable, they don't stand out or elevate the overall experience. Finally, the writing is poorly executed, scoring 2 out of 10, with dialogues and descriptions that fail to immerse the audience or effectively convey the story's themes.

Overall, this work struggles across almost every critical aspect, delivering an experience that is both forgettable and disappointing.

Even by porn standards, this is really low-quality writing. Endlessly gratuitous dialogue that adds nothing to the plot. Illusion of choice, where turning someone down simply adds extra dialogue before the sex scene you just rejected starts anyway. Plenty of 'bad ending' choices that are indistinguishable from the choice that continues the story.

I didn't mind the AI images, which is where the extra star came from.

It's very well made and designed for an AI CG game. The writing is really good. There is no animation for now, but the image quality is so good that I didn't care. There are things that can be improved, but in general, my score would be 4, but I will say 5 because of the really quality visuals.

Although I don't mind the AI CG, that cascade of words and emojis taking up the screen during hot scenes makes me vomit. Is this supposed to be a porn adaptation to the classic comic books where you have words on the screen for random sounds?
The story and the girls are OK, but the extra stuff on the screen makes me think I'm on TikTok.

A kinetic novel based on the classic 80s cop movie: neon, muscles, testosterone and curves. With a huge dose of action, neon and crazyness. Characters are amazing and story is interesting and thrilling enough.

This is fantastic - its super gorgeous in just the right "fantasy porn eighties" style, it has quite a lot of good writing, and it is super smutty.

Sure it's more of a VN than a true game, but the gorgeous art just keeps coming. I've seen a lot of AI art and this is easily among the best and most creative.

Never reviewed before but felt the need to offset the previous opinion as it seemed unfair.

Generally I am a quiet lurker but felt the need to commend the creator of this on the fantastic work.
The game is so gloriously over the top in tone and I love what has been done so far.

The protag is a superchad taking his opportunity to bang as many (stunningly rendered) women as possible with said 'ladies' being somewhat realistic in not being universally exclusive virgins reserved for the MC's use.
This might turn off some, but for me it elevates the 'realism'

Pros:

1) The AI art is on another level compared to what we have seen so far.
The game is gorgeous

2) The ridiculous story is really well written.

3) The pacing feels perfect and the script avoids the common issue of a lot of games which use mountains of exposition disguised as self reflection or drag out the H-scenes with hundreds of lines of redundant dialogue

4) The women are stunning and feel distinct personality-wise

5) A good amount of scenes for such an early release (The 3 years initial development were not wasted)

6) There is music (which I dont listen to, personal preference) and some amusing sound and voice effects

Personal Cons:

1) There are no animations. Not a dealbreaker for me but would absolutely be a nice-to-have

2) The vast majority of the ladies are in the thicc category. And whilst this is absolutely in line with the general theme of the game, it would be nice to have more with smaller busts and asses (relatively!!) for a bit more variety.

3) MC's cock is comically big. It needs to be big for the story, but halfway between Ron Jeremy and donkey would have worked in my opinion. But regardless Im not going to let that stop me from enjoying the game

4) There is a lot of missed dialogue due to the way the way that the conversation menus are structured.
And the only way to see them is to replay the game making different choices.
They dont affect the game in any way as no variables are affected.
It would be nice if the developer could add menu labels and tracking variables so you could explore all of the 'lore'-type options in the dialogs before moving on to the next part of the conversations (where relevant)

5) There looks like there will be significant branching down the line so naming-saves feels like a necessary option. I managed to get round this by using the console but it would be nice if it were native.

So despite the few gripes I have (fixable by dev or due to my personal likes), I have to say this is an easy 5-star based on what I have seen so far and the plans to come and happy to provide patreon support soon.

It's not bad, it has potential but it's clear that it still needs to improve a lot.

Visually, it has very well-done moments and others where the characters simply do not have expressions even when they are supposed to be having sex, in addition to the physical changes that some characters present between scenes, obviously being AI.

The sound is good, but there are no animations.

The story is... strange, the MC becomes a super "CHAD" thanks to a magical portal. It's not the strangest thing that has been seen in a porn game but it is a bit curious.

Recommended if you are not anxious about using AI and have a tolerance for slight glitches, both visually and in the story.
