RPGM - Absolute Power Corruption [v0.97] [moriAPC]

Fun and entertaining game with a unique and campy in a good way art style that keeps things pretty simple but yet has layers upon layers of taking the piss out of everything. Sometimes even breaking the 4th wall to do so. There is no limit to what you can do. Its not done as of writing this, but I feel its fun enough to say that it can only get better from here. I mean I stopped playing and redownloaded only for him to add even more NPCs to bang... 10/10 would also impregnate their mom like protag.

While the art is noticeable bad(save for the remastered stuff,) the gameplay average and the story not there, the dialogue(especially during sex scene) , kinks and actual choices make this game enjoyable.
This game completely and intentionally flips the wimpy MC typecast by making the MC a complete asshole and puts you in a do what you want fantasy, like it's a GTA for porn. Very nice.

But overall this game is largely incomplete with lots of stand in art and lacking story, but it's ambitious and has a lot of kinks I like and good dialogue . I'm sure it'll be great when it's more finish

why people complain about rape and ntr like it's not tagged

Story: Poor and lacking, not very entertaining

Originality: Unoriginal.

Renders: the characters are drawn like it's a parody game...and not a good parody

Sound: It's standard, nothing to say, nothing to comment

Playability: It's on the worst version of RPGM...i can't change the resolution of the window, everything is small... i had headache by trying to read something and distinguish a character from the other...FOR ME, it's unplayable.

Performance: At least it's not on Unity or Unreal...

Bugs: didn't notice them

Animations: There aren't any

Voice Acting: There wasn't.

Grammar: it's understandable.

Amount of content: MEH!

I'll preface the review with a disclaimer: The game is rapidly evolving, probably making any criticisms I write as of now (v0.34), irrelevant.

Pros:
Very Active dev.
The game has underwent several changes and additions in the short time it's been worked on, so if there's an issue, it'll most likely be fixed in a timely manner.

Interesting Dialogue
The writing is really interesting, if not hilarious, specially, but not limited to, your sister (Cherry).

Options to avoid certain fetishes
Self-explanatory, though with some of them being disabled, you'll be missing out on a chunky amount of content.

Cons:
Addition of systems with no real end-goal.
The way the game is currently setup, it has systems that serve a general purpose (kingdom investments and selling goods, for example), namely: Getting Dosh. The issue is that, there is no real way to spend all that money, essentially making a system that has no real purpose, and isn't very engaging. Something simple, like having a really expensive (optional) property, like a mansion, or even an Inn upgrade that makes it give a decent amount of money every day, would be a good way to remedy that


Lack of story development
This is mostly a nitpick on my end, since I don't really mind the lack of a story, but when a game has such interesting concepts as these, it makes it hard not to want (and demand) more. Though this is excusable due to the current focus on sexual content, rather than story.

Conclusion:
If you like a rude, domineering MC, this is most likely the game for you. I'd recommend you give it a spin for the sole fact that it's something different, and, with the insane amount of bad RPGM games out there, this is a real breath of fresh air.

Surprisingly more than expected for a demo.
Simple map/gameplay, which is fine. It is simple in execution but could be built upon.

Not sure if the guy hired an artist or what cause the busts and sex scenes are night and day.

This is a winner in my book. This game is in its early stages at the time of this review. What this game lacks in artwork, it makes up for in the amount of options, dialogue, and effort that was put into it. You don't need to be a great illustrator to make a great game.

A diamond in the rough-- proof that a good erotic game doesn't always need grind or RPG elements, just interesting choices.

Fantastic writing-- over the top, but that seems to be the point. Art has a unique charm.

Kath is the greatest.

Edit: Added an extra star 3 months after my initial review due to very consistent and high quality updates. The developer is constantly adding more fantastic scenes and choices.

This is super short, and the improved art isn't exactly amazing but the content that is there is good. Three stars, with one extra to encourage developer to put out more updates.
