I can't find the "Review" button so here's mine

Judging as if this "abandoned" game is completed, since I enjoyed it enough to consider it that way.

Total : 4/5

Gameplay : 3/5 - just a bit above your typical event collector RPGM, but the "sexual content within gameplay" mechanic is a really nice bit. The main gameplay of roguelike maze crawler is locked behind the "abandoned" tag except for a little bit in chapter 2

Length : 3/5 - 4 full chapters of "introduction", lots of earlier story must be skipped or skimmed through. I think even the dev acknowledged this and that's why they put the "digest" gameplay mode, which IMO deserve a bump from 2/5 to 3/5.

H : 4/5 - You either have the kinks for it (humiliation, forced pleasure) or you don't. If you need to have actual sex & penetration, there's like only 1 scene.

Characters : 6/5 - Instead of your typical jrpg where everyone is a shameless scumbag pervert, the main characters and NPC stay true to their characters. I LOVE the main antagonist especially. I'm surprised how well the characters are written.

Story : 4/5 - Plot twists after plot twists, emotional moments, makes the story interesting enough to be a 5/5. But minus 1 star for the boring chapter 1 & most of chapter 2.

If you like humiliation, give it a try. Use the digest version and just read the summary of chapter 1, then skim through playing chapter 2 because it only start to get interesting towards the end. You'll be bored for 20 minutes, and then have some degenerated fun for like maybe 1 hour until the game ends. The ending is kinda satisfying considering it's not actually the "ending" due to being abandoned.

How complete is this game? at least you can get an ending?
It's a (very content-rich) demo. It is basically the Prologue. Like 1/3 of the game, or 1/4.
It has no endings.
Its not actually abandoned, it is on hold, since the developer is working on another game right now,
so no idea when they will pick this back up. Its been a while. They are very active on ci-en and post updates about the other game, and they have released a game before, so its definitely not a pump & dump. But it could be years till this game comes out fully.

Well, why couldn't they end the demo at some point and sell it while doing the rest of the story as another separate game like what Kojima did with Ground Zero and Phantom Pain?

Sex scene is only one?

Yasagure Kitsuenjo has revived their twitter presence in the last month, and it sounds like Kashiwagi Manuri's (the author/dev half) back surgery went well. My faith is recovering, I had strong "He's gonna mysteriously die of Japanese indie dev health complications before publishing this" feeling at the start of the year.

One of the approaches they're taking to resolve the map limit issue, is to split some of the planned content from Viscaria off into their new slump-buster game, マグノリアの鎧姫 (Magnolia Guardmaiden, if I were to posit a translation).
Of these, one will be Drosera's backstory from when she was still alive.

She's a necromancer who wears a sheer negligee in public... but Drosera is kind of a dirty bitch like that.
