No, as you can easily see if you look at their twitter or cien page. There's unlikely to be any update anytime soon either. I'm also not sure why you thought there'd be an update in the 4 days since you posted acknowledging the previous person saying there was no update from 9 days ago.

Feels like this could have been a VN given how linear the events are. The actual maps aren't really improving it with how much talking and etc they're doing.

VN wearing RPG maker skin indeed.
If I recall my ci-en binging correctly, Kubel was originally considered to be a straight-up VN, but the ease of implementing all the Indelible Memories in RPG Maker are what caused Manuri to go with RPG-MV engine.
Since these games do a good job at character motivations, I don't mind not being able to wander the heroine naked into the men's bath to be molested or whatever.

On the point of railroading, though, looks like the next game has auto-pilot dungeons, even!

Not yet, from the progress reports it's seems he's done most of the systems and UI and is about to work on the H-scenes. ETA was March 2026, but who knows.

So true, the next cast and premise doesn't move me at all at first glance, eroticism wise. Age gap oneesan NTR? The kid would have no shot begin with.
I'll be playing it for the worldbuilding, of course (lol)
