Accord is not simply a kink game but it shares the general futa lore about a genetically engineered third gender, the superior physical attributes of futas, suppression and persecution and the addiction theme. All this combined with different routes that allow you to be either in control or be controlled and abused.
This is not new and barely goes beyond the lore in other futa games, but it does it well enough. What gives it the edge compared to many other genre entries is the great visual quality. There is a lot of visual effects and abstraction to portray the inner mind and battle that MC is going through.
As far as interactions go this is more of an anime-like with the typical stereotypes.
This game doesn't give you excessive agency, but enough to avoid the most controversial events like netorare or being left at the mercy of the antagonist. The moment where you make this choice is highlighted in such a way that you cannot stumble on a path you don't want to be on.
My biggest issue with the game are interesting characters like Ashley who are worth exploring in more detail, but they are only used as a means to advance the story of the MC. She doesn't really exist outside of it and that weakens the emotional connection you can have with her (and with others). Maybe it would have been worth it to explore the most important relationships some more.
