Hi, I convinced a friend of mine to open an account and join the community but unfortunately hes a bit of a privacy nut and because he was prevented from using a SimpleLogin email alias he decided to use a disposable email and now cant login, hes tried to contact the support email: contact@f95zone.com this time using his real email address over a week ago but hasn't received a reply.
I tried opening a ticket a couple of days ago but I'm not sure I what the right course of action is?
His username is s3xxxypig

Both are the right way (ticket is better tho, because the email probably gets a metric fuckton of spam mails).

Just wait for a bit longer, as far as I know a week is to be expected.
The responsible staff members may not be online or may be too busy to respond or solve it.

Also while this problem seems belong to the "Contact Admins" as listed in the ticket selection...

...it's not a bad idea to create the ticket in one of the others to get better visibility, so that the mods/staff can redirect it to the higher ups.

But since his account is pretty new and hasn't done much...

He could also make a new account and report his old one as a "lost password" one and ask for deletion.

Multiple accounts are allowed after all...

Okay Thanks we'll wait for the admins to reply to my ticket then, maybe were being a tad too impatient

Hed prefer to keep his username consistent on all his accounts: Signal, Proton, Mastodon, Gitlab, Steam, GOG, Itch etc but its not the end of the worls if he has to create a new account with a different username, thats what he gets for being too paranoid about his data
I keep trying to tell him it aint worth the hassle and effort but hes always stubborn so i get bragging rights to rub it in a bit now:LOL:
Also apologies for my grammar and/or any spelling mistake , Portuguese is my 1st Language

Wait he's paranoid about his data but uses a username that can always be traced back to him?
That's not what you do if you want privacy

Yeah, I'm not sure about that.

He might want to create a random username for every account that he logs in from, and a detailed/complex password, then log them both in a secure password manager app (like ) and then export his password/username list to a regular USB stick that is encrypted by

^ That's just scratching the surface of what one could realistically do if they want to be overly conscientious about their data security/privacy :coffee: :PogChamp:

Your don't really have any privacy if someone could form a profile on you because you share a username across multiple websites.
Using VPNs and multiple emails aren't going to help you that much when you have any easily recognizable footprint.
