This was the second adult game for me. After the first game I played, which was a feel good harem ending game, this felt like kick in the nut. I know the dev is working on BADIK now but I hope to see something like this from him or from some other dev. We need games like this.

Just a quickie since there countless fans and reviews, personally found it average and well below DIK capability in every way.
The ending countless talked about really ruins it above all, to point as far as higher end games/stories it 1 the worst.

Oh boy, a classic, totally recomended, the story was not what I spected, specially at the end, all in a good way and hey we have a varied cast with some sadly unaboible missteps that just help ultimadly to better shape the tell, so nice .

Great start with high potential, but heavily let-down by forcing Megan onto you all of the time (can't remain faithful to others if you want a different heroine), and the later third of the story suddenly becomes a mess.

Liam's a great character. One of the best bros on this website.

One of the first games I ever played. A beautifully heartbreaking story about life.

I remember binging through this game and not stopping, I wish I could stay more about the story specifically, but it would just spoil things too much. What I can say it that's the most spectacular part of the game for me.

The visuals are good, not great. I realize this was a few years back. In my option this game of far superior to the creators second game. That's probably a minority option, but it's how I feel.

Please give this a try, it take you through such a range of emotions.

PROs:

• The throuple path is done surprisingly well.
  • The reveal is especially good and feels almost realistic.
• The dialogue can be pretty good.
• The writing is properly proofread and edited.
• Very character driven.

CONs:

• The creepy kissing faces. The renders don't look good enough for faces to look good that close up. Also, people tend to close their eyes when they kiss…
• When you meet each new girl, it does that slow pan thing.
• Clichés: “oops, the shower door is open”, says MCs name out loud while masturbating.
• MC is a bit lacking in personality, he is just this nice guy blank slate.
• Couldn't be bothered to play through multiple endings because some branches are too far back, and I just wasn't that invested in any of the characters.

TL;DR: Worth a try if you are into the tags, whether you like it will depend on whether you kind the characters interesting.

What the actual fuck is this art doing here? Like, I can't even believe I experienced that... I want to recommend it to so many people, but like, can there be a censored patch? Successful mastrubations = 0, Successful emotional investments = 12/10. Just fuck man, please make more of these? This is a lovely game. I could never have predicted how much I would like playing it. Beautiful renderings, amazing tale flow, and what a SURPRISE the plot was! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now to move on to Being a Dik!

Great story, though warning that there is some emotional damage to be suffered. Soundtrack was well picked to match throughout. Most animations were great but there were a few rigid ones. All main girl routes turned out really well. Definitely one of the better VN's I've tried.

The story telling in this game is pretty good and i wasn't able to just guess everything that would happen in the story.

I had heard a lot of good things and the ending was somewhat spoilered for me on this so I couldnt ever be fully objective on that bit. However my opinion is that it is actually a pretty good ending, with an interesting twist that most stories wouldnt even attempt.


With all of that said I must say that this game will absolutely 100% rail road you into a specific relationship, no if's ands or buts. You can try to show no interest and pick every option that is just friendly and not flirty and you will still get the same result. MC and the character in question will somehow always end up with the feels. (AKA if you want a different LI you are gonna have to go the scumbag cheater route)

Very good game. I played this after Being A DIK. I can see that the author has come so far.
The graphic is good, Game has a perfect length and good replayability.
I really like the story as well. WARNING BITTERSWEET STORY.
This is a finished game so I highly recommend trying it out.
I was prepared before going into the game because I hate sad and tragic story.
I am impressed by the foreshadowing and the mystery.
The biggest lesson I learned from this game is to WORK OUT get that freaking muscle on and also to learn about what to do when in a crisis situation, you never know when you might need it.

Simply fantastic, a story that makes you emotional, sad and happy at the same time. The characters are also well developed, with their own motivations, and I really liked Liam, he symbolizes what true friendship is. It's not just about happy or sad days, it's about lifting your head and trying to move on.

Yo wtf is this dude? I play these games to get my jollies, not to have the biggest breakdown ive ever experienced from any movie/tvshow/game. Seriously I was crying on and off for days after playing this. I didnt even think that was possible for me. Which speaks to how brilliant and well done this game is. And you will still get your jollies as there are plenty of steamy scenes that are just enhanced by the phenomenal writing and character development which makes them feel like real people. But I will say if you're in an emotionally vulnerable place and want to avoid anything that could potentially upset you, steer clear of this game. If you get emotionally invested, which is very easy to do with how well written this game is, it will tear your heart out. With that being said its definitely not a game for everyone, but for me I consider this nothing short of a masterpiece 10/10

I am really impresswd of ghis game. Obviousley the Dev DrPinkCake is a real professional writer and passionate artist to deliver such a outstanding game with really great story and twists. I never experienced a more engaging and exciting story yet as VN. I know that the Dev is also doing the high ranked VN Being a DIK which i didnt had the time to play yet but if it is as good as Acting lessons i am grateful to start it soon from beginning. It is rare that a game is in that quality available here without any errors or bugs. Now i will try some more playthroughs with different choices to get all endings. Really a great game what i can reccomend to everyone who wants go enjoy beautyful character designs and exciting storytelling with remarkable decissions.

I just have to review the first ever Ren'Py adult vn I ever play. This game also jump-starts the dev fame and career of adult vn with highly successful DIK. There is nothing particularly special about the game story other than competently written. It is a decent game after all compare with so many trash out there. I'll give it 5 stars because thanks to this game I fell into the deep rabbit hole of porn games.

I expected a lot more from the way it was hyped up. It wasn’t bad but the big ending seemed contrived and unnecessarily forced also it didn’t make sense if you played the way I did. Maybe it was better if you played differently but since I didn’t it didn’t seem good. Minus 1 star also for being way under the hype.
