I have been on this site for a while now, and I have played more games than I care to admit, but what really frustrates me, is that every game recommendation or a game that seems interesting, the gameplay is usually horse shit. I mean, these are supposed to be games right? If I want to read erotica, I'll use some different site or read a book, I don't want to see the same asset dump renpy games with a writing so abysmal that it makes my eyes bleed. Same shit with RPGM games. It's just copy and paste same assets, you've played one, you have played them all.
You don't have to make anything super polished or top tier stuff, I am content if the gameplay loop is good, something that will keep you coming back for the game, not for the lewds.
On this site, there has been only a few games that do this, and some of you will hate me for not thinking that being a DIK or your other high school fantasy games are not on that list.
Best gameplay out of thousands of games has been on the game Wings of Seduction: bust 'em out! The game itself isn't anything to get me going, but I really had fun with it. A really polished game, and it had me really wanting to play it.
The other games on the same list are (not in order): Aurelia, My dystopian girlfriend, Trials in tainted space, Tamer vale and Price of freedom.
Honorable mentions go to: Anthro Heat, Carnal Instinct and Lab Rats 2, for making S-tier content, but not really engaging content, atleast not yet.
So my question really is: Is there any games that really try something new? Something even a little addictive?
