This is a great game. Not just a great porn game, but a genuinely great game. I went in expecting a run-of-the-mill adult VN and ended up with something far more polished and engaging. It opens with the familiar “war-torn fantasy world” setup, but the storytelling and pacing make everything click surprisingly fast, and before I realized it, I was way more invested than I expected to be. If you’re looking for an adult VN that actually delivers a killer story on top of its adult content, this one is absolutely worth your time.

The story leans hard into a gritty mercenary vibe, putting you at the head of a battered company caught in a massive war against the Isenian Empire in the Northern Reaches of Castria, and what really surprised me is how well the game balances its tone. I’d honestly play this as a regular fantasy VN with zero adult content, no hesitation, and after finishing the main storyline in the latest update, I’m genuinely blown away by how well everything came together.

What really sets this game apart is its production value, honestly close to small game-studio quality. The animated cutscenes and voice work are the real showstoppers, turning key moments into full-on cinematic sequences with smooth camera work, clean syncing, and surprisingly strong sound design. These scenes elevate the entire experience and make the slower VN sections feel absolutely worth it. And it’s not just the adult content that gets this treatment (though those scenes are fully animated and voiced, which is already a huge upgrade compared to the usual static fare), the major story beats also have voice acting, giving everything more weight and emotion. The result is a level of immersion you don’t normally find in adult VNs, and when those dramatic moments land, they really land.

The main character actually feels like a decent person trying to do right by his people and the companions come across as genuine individuals with their own motivations, quirks, and histories rather than cardboard cutouts or simple romance targets. The renders and models are solid, even if the art style takes some getting used to, some have noted the female characters’ “big eyes” which can feel a bit off at first. Personally, the eyes eventually grew on me and became part of the charm. More importantly, the characters’ expressions convincingly convey emotion, even in quieter scenes, making the story feel alive and ensuring that the emotion lands. As for the lewd content: it’s high-quality, but what really stands out is how optional it is, almost everything past the intro can be skipped, with clear warnings for kink-specific scenes. When you do choose to engage with it, the animations and voice acting are far beyond what you’d expect from a typical indie VN, showing both polish and a genuine respect for player choice.

There are a couple of small gripes: the pacing near the finale can feel a bit rushed, and a few story threads could use more development, but these minor issues don’t detract from the overall experience. As a porn game this is bad.

As a normal game this is pretty good.

The main game has few images with camera movement to keep it interesting, but then 'shocks' you with animated scenes with voice acting and sound effects like a full on movie. It's interesting

Pros:

1. Animated scenes with voices: That's some big budget production for an adult VN game
2. Sex: Animated. Seems to be quite common. The starting intro is the MC watching people having sex in the open like it's a daily occurrence lol
3. Story focus: It's kinda episodic as in you progress the main story and unlock side content focusing on LI's. You have the choice to just focus on the main story if you want.

Cons:

1. Art style for females: The female models have huge eyes that look jarringly out of place.
2. Sex is casual. No temptation or spicyness. Just relief through bodies, which meh.
3. No dialogue in Sex scenes. It's just an animation that changes camera angles

This story is complete and very much left for further storylines in the future. The world building being very kingdom like, with full on nations and kingdoms. The politics and military expanding the world.

One of the best games in this site. Not many games have cutscenes, especially fluent cutscene like in this game. VA's are great, sex scenes are great. Story and world-building is mostly good. There is not much downside, cons that comes to my mind is:
Story and world-building could go much better if story was a bit more longer.
Most female characters have big eyes and its looks a bit weird sometimes.

> Interactive map. Why is it here? The game clearly wasn't built with an idea of sandbox in mind.
> Game has voice acting and animated cut-scenes, but I'd really prefer if it didn't. Stage direction in those isn't the greatest and VA isn't professional, so those scenes are frequently an awkward experience.
> Medieval fantasy with a modern colloquialism.
> Main story and dialogue is extremely boring.
> Sex scenes are short and scuffed.

Overall - a mediocre experience, really not much else to ponder upon.

I didn't realize I never did a review for this game.

It's an absolutely great visual novel, if there was no porn in it, it would still be a great game. The characters, models, and overall story line was perfect for the fantasy genre.

Coming back to it after Projekt: Passion does make it seem a little weaker, but only because the author has improved on all of his abilities as well as sci-fi scratches my itch more than fantasy most of the time, all in all, an amazing game, play it!

The game is good for the originality, the effort for the scenes, the VA, narration, the fantasy world building (strongly inspired by LotR for some parts).

The bad parts...
The sandbox is completely useless, felt like it was made as an idea and given up quickly in the later development of the game, could have been just a VN. Feels like the ending is rushed, as the game felt like a world building, and the ending just a way to start 'Act 2' with so many open questions and potential directions/arcs to explore. Also the sex scenes: could give an indicator indicating that the loop is starting so we don't wait to see if we've seen it all.

Only one threesome. Not much interactions between side characters, but mostly because the story didn't go long enough for that I suppose...

Still, 4/5 for the good points.

Couldn't get through it. The premise was interesting but the dialogue was so drawn out and boring . The sex scenes I did see looked great but were very few and sparse. The MC was suppose to be some kind of grizzled veteran that leads a renounced mercenary company but his actions and personality doesn't match the position.

now im not gonna waste time talk to much about the negatives because its minor & a lot of people will not even care about it .. but i do .. im just gonna mention 3 :

there are barely any side characters in the game you focusing only with the main girls

and if there is any side characters in the game , like ( Bev - Soniya - Anari - Lexis ) .. again , they are UNFUCKABLE ,, AGAIN , thanks a lot , they are totally useless , the same mistake that most of developers do & never learn , why creating sexy side female characters & tease the players , & then make them unfuckable ? that doesn't make ANY sense to me

why not add at least 1 sex scene to each one of all the girls , even they were side girls , what would the Dev lose if he did ? the players may actually like some of them , you never know , i my self liked Lexis & Soniya alot , i was so disapointed the game ended without any sex scene with them , i just went back to fuck the same main girls again instead , who i already fucked before , this is the worst thing that happened in any game for me , its just lazy ,

there weren't many girls in the game any way , even the main girls were only about 5 or 6 in the whole game at best , i can literally count all of them just with my fingers ,, creating extra sex scene with those side girls would of added more spices to the game , and it wont even cost the Dev much

the other thing is that , the girls there were not that sexy , to be honest , they all have the same generic skinny body type ( kinda like a teenage Fem-boy body ) , and they have a very creepy eyes , and when the MC looks more handsome than all of the girls there , that's a red flag sign ,

but i kinda like ( Trysta , Fayeth , Caelis ) the most , they were a little bit chubbier , sexier & differet .. the funniest characters for me are ( The MC & Liram ) you will love them

also the MC he keeps on talking to him self A lot like some crazy psycho , & he doesnt even say any thing worth mentioning , it was just waffling

most of the conversation in this story is abouit ( WAR , PLANS , WAR , TACTICS , FIGHTING , ATTACK , PLANS , BAD MEMORIES , WAR , PLANS ) after awhile , i started skipping to be honest , i was expecting some conversation about daily life or different setuations or personal problems , which happend very little in this game ,

but i love the humor in there , alot , the MC is REALY funny some time , its amazing , and the audio talking is stunning , and the sex animations were great

Not the best VN, but still pretty exceptional in its own right.

By far the best part is the animation quality paired with actual voice acting, including in the lewd scenes. This alone earns it a 5 star from me.
The only complaint I have is that there's a ton of inconsequential creampies where you don't actually get to see the creampie. It still scratches the itch, but it'd be better if you could see the aftermath. Both immediate and prenatal, if you catch my drift.

The still renders are solid. Not the best, but definitely A~ tier. Not a lot to say about them beyond that.

The story is pretty generic as far as fantasy tales go, but if you're into them, you won't be particularly disappointed. It's also not that long, unless you're a slow reader, so not a huge time investment. You could easily complete in a day, assuming you don't spend too much time on the lewd scenes.

The choices are minimal and seem mostly obvious. I'm fairly sure you'd have to be actively TRYING to get the bad ending, and I'm not certain it's worth a second playthrough to do it.

The characters are decent, if somewhat generic like the story, but as others have pointed out, the female characters have somewhat cartoony faces compared to the men.
I'm inclined to think this was intentional. Especially with the emphasis on the eyes. Maybe something the Dev prefers. Maybe a fetish akin to ahegao. Not sure what you'd call it, but I know some people like big eyes, although I'm not certain why, so I can't say if this is well-done in that regard.
It's not terrible, and it even works for some of the characters. Namely Aymee, Izumi and the elves.
(The final woman that you meet, Caelis, doesn't seem to suffer from this at all, but her presence is short lived. It's a part of the story, and there aren't LI's in the traditional dating-sim sense, but if there were, her role would make it extremely disappointing, since she's definitely the most attractive IMO.)

Overall, it's not bad at all, and as stated, the mere fact that the scenes are well animated and voiced makes a world of difference when it comes to, eh... going AFK.

A game that puts the player in the role of the captain of a renowned mercenary group as he fights against a powerful empire on the cusp of destroying the last remaining free nations. All this while, he must try to salvage what little remains of his group, as many turn against him due to the lure of power and gold. It is also during this difficult time that he learns of a hidden skill and must decide how best to use it.

I liked my playthrough quite a lot and found myself compelled to come back again and again. I found that the story was well paced and pretty deep and intricate for what is essentially a 'porn game'. The characters were all fleshed out, with their own unique personalities and drives. The girls were all beautiful and well crafted, with deep and meaningful backgrounds and lore supplied for the reader to engage with. Each one had their own preferences and provided a wide variety of content and dialogue. I was never left to wonder about why or what was going on with the plot, and I found that everything made sense and meshed together well. The humor and writing were pretty good, and the various dialogues were nicely mixed. I never found myself thinking that a horny teenager had just spammed keys on a keyboard; the writing was mature and refined. The girls had their own likes and dislikes, and I appreciated that most tastes were catered for, at least with respect to the adult content. There were some kinks that I didn't care for, but Classy Lemon provided clear warnings and options that allowed the player to pick and choose what scenes they saw. I very much liked that, as far too many adult games foist the developers own personal tastes onto a player. Having the freedom to choose what I saw and had my character partake in gave a sense of personalization and customization to the game. This is something that I honestly wish more developers would allow for in their games, and it has been something that I have deleted games because of before. I liked the way that the sex scenes were worded and felt that the balance between static images and animated sections was about right. I would have preferred an actual harem ending rather than what was given, though. I didn't like that the girls were open but unaware of each other for the most part. I think that a harem ending would just have worked better, but it's not a major complaint, more of a personal preference. The game still closed very well, in my opinion, and tied most of the plot strings off nicely.

I thought that the graphics for this game were simply gorgeous. The environments were rich and full, with some fantastic backgrounds and locations. The characters, especially the girls, were stunning and had a nice mix of body types and structures. I did find that the choice of size for the girl's eyes was a bit off-putting at first, but once you got used to it, it worked in an odd sort of way. The animations were fairly good—not the best that I have seen, but they were still good. I did like the camera angle changes and felt that the softness and motion of the girls bodies were well portrayed. The menu and interfaces were clean and clear, and I never found myself having any trouble navigating around the game at all. Shading and lighting were really good, with the shadows and colours cast by the various torches, fires, lamps, and such really worth taking note of.

Overall, I liked this game a lot and found that I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. I would have preferred some things to be in this game and some things to be taken out, but I get that Classy Lemon wanted to make something that would appeal to a fairly broad audience.

The voiceovers, music and sound effects are successful. Animations and renders look very good. After the Inferno has a lot more work and effort than you can see in an ordinary VN. But despite all these positive aspects, the game still feels very boring. The main reason for this is that the game feels very linear. You read a lot of dialog, but you're not allowed to make many choices that can affect the story. The main character's obsession with a character named Cressa also bored me a lot. This character is important to the story, but the game doesn't give the player enough reasons to care about her, and yet the whole story is centered around reaching her. The game even doesn't introduce the main character enough for you to like him. After the Inferno feels like the second or third game in a series. Because you haven't played the previous games in the series, you can't really understand anything that's going on. The story feels very rushed. That's why I couldn't care about the universe the game takes place in or the characters, and the story didn't interest me because it felt like a kinetic novel.

Compared to its successor, it's inferior in every way but looking at it from a standalone angle, it's a pretty average game. The dialogue is great, don't get me wrong, but the story doesn't feel as fleshed out as I had hoped. A lot of the characters are a bit mediocre, and we only spend time with a few of them for a limited amount. Again, I felt like this one should've been longer. Major props for the renders, animations, and voice acting though!

This instantly became one of my all time favorites. I actually feel really bad I finished it because I want more. I am sad but also excited that they are now working on a new game in a new universe. But if its the same quality as this one, it will be amazing. As soon as I get the funding, I will support this through patreon.

I really really really hope they will revisit this world in a new game, its too good to not be used. Only downside is that the sex scenes are kinda goofy, it feels like the movements are sped up too much.

After the Inferno attempts to be more than a generic porn game, and it mostly succeeds. It has a unique art style, a different enough plot and setting, and while not crazy, the sex is all pretty good. It innovates just enough to stand out, and provides a solid core experience. If it was more fleshed out, it could be a 5/5 game. As it stands, the plot reaches what feels like the beginning of act 2, before suddenly skipping to the end of act 3. This is jarring, and a bit of a disappointment, but it's still worth playing. If their next game manages the follow through better, this will be a dev team to watch.

This game has an interesting story. It has some storylines that can be played in multiple ways which influence the ending, which is also nice.

The textures aren't very high quality, but the animations are of fairly good quality, and the game isn't hurt by the textures at all.

This game features some animations with sound, these may clash with the voices that you have in your head of the characters, but they are short and uncommon enough not to be a problem.

All in all I really enjoyed playing this game.

This game gets 5 stars from me not just because it's a good game but also because they have tried to bring the genre forward with fully animated and voiced scenes spread through the story. The story is set in a medieval time period where our MC is leading a Mercenary group and things go from there it's kinda sandboxy and kinda kinetic but overall a nice game that tried something different and succeeded. Really liked the game and would try the other games by Classy Lemon.

Got to say the story was a bit boring, no real twist or anything special, its just pretty much all vanilla, dident really feel like there was much romance it was more rushed then anything with most girls.

The story also feels like it was cut very short, the hole cult thing that was a big deal in the start got left out and forgotten about which was a bit weird.
MC finding out he was a mage dident really do much for the story since it was just an option for him to get a spirit in hes body nothing else.

Cressa which i would consider the main LI has a weird story if you ask me, first i dont see why she wasent made a virgin since i dont see when she would ever have had sex, she was with MC up to her teens only as friends and once she moves to the city she couldent get into college and started a life of crime and got blackmailed to do it for a few years, she lives in a small 1 room place with no room for a chair and as far as story goes she was never raped and never sold her self for sex, so just felt weird that she wasent a virgin in this story or atleast explained to us why she wasent, its not that it hurts the game its just my personal wondering when/how/who she has ever been with in the few years they where apart.

Also the lore on her dosent match up with the story when you play she dident leave of her own free will to follow a dream of going to magic college, she never wanted to go there but got forced to it due to her familie losing reputation and losing their money due to her having magic, so it wasent a life of comfort in any way and she dident have a real choice to leave town and MC, so lore feels quite a bit off on that part.

I dont like how easy MC forgives and forget, i understand they where friends once but after someone betray you there should be consequences not just "ofcause i will take you back"..i mean come on if someone betrays you to go fight with the ennemy of yours and is willing to kill you, insted of sticking with you then theres no reason to ever trust that person again, and it would be more then likely that he could betray you again.....but MC is more then happy to take him back even pay for hes room at the inn.....its idiotic...same goes for the rest of MCs old betraying group he keeps hoping they are alive and probely wants them back to, it simply just makes no sense, they would proberly have killed MC in the battle they betrayed him at if given the chance.....it only makes MC feel very very brainless.

it justs feels to idiotic, who on earth would want alot of traitors in their group, its like asking to get backstapped and getting killed from the back sure wont improve any odds of winning....

But thats how the MC is, hes a submissive brainless idiot that only knows how to love everyone even traitors who go up against him and kill him for money, theres no way he could ever be the leader of any group, hes just way to soft which really ruins alot of the story.


Even though there is no virgin tag, game does have one but the virgin scene is a bit of a joke, she say go slow and you see MC slam it all in in less then a second they really dident care to make it feel anything like a virgin scene, maybe thats why they left tag out.
But they got one thing right which was a huge supprise to me, if you dont take her virginity in the dungon, she remains a virgin untill you want to fuck her at the next option to do so, this barely ever happens in other games, the scene is still very bad though, no blood no pain and slams it in full with 0 issues, so still no real thought put into making it a virgin scene.

The LIs are ok but none of them are really hot well maybe the fox girl but you dont see much of her, also some of them looks to much like one another, like Cressa/Kyra/Aymee feels like the same face with barely any changes.

Sandbox part dident make much sense to me, its nothing but clicking a map which could have been left out since it dosent add anything to the game, maybe dev planed to make a real sandbox with more interactions like gaining gold, doing bounties, gold, buying stuff but there is none of that in this one, so i guess dev gave up at some point and they should have removed the sandbox element altogether since its not a sandbox as it is now.

The best part of the game is the animations they are pretty good i would say 4/5 on that and it does add value to the game.

Music and effects i would give 3/5 but mostly due to having a bit a voices added to the game, since most of the game is just silent without music.

I will still give this 3 stars but cant go higher since i still feel like there is missing parts of the story with the cult, and missing a real ending as well.
Still worth playing when you have some spare time for it.

In overall I had a lot of fun while playing it.
Here are my thoughts.

Pros:
- Cool story with a lot of funny moments, was enjoying it; interesting universe, magic, different creatures (magic origin and not only), well written characters with their own flaws, they are unique, not some empty NPCs, while immersing yourself in this world you kinda believe them, you feel for them.
- Great models, great renders, sexy animations with amazing voice acting.

Cons:
- Closer to the end game got very rushed, it really catches the eye, from the start I've been simply enjoying the story and then bamn - the story pace increases rapidly. The final character we meet, who is the most adorable in a game (my humble opinion), gets very little content. The final battle is also very rushed without any aftermath dialogues and scenes - the game just jumps to the celebration.
- Ending for me was unsatisfying (-1 star for this exactly), I mean this is a pinnacle of the story, right?
First of all, we don't really end up with any LI, so, technically there are no LIs in a game.
Secondly the final sequence of renders leaves a lot of questions. I mean if we consider it as a prequel, or a first part of smth more then the ending is okeyish, but if it's a finished story then there are more questions than answers.
- Some choices are meaningless and those that are not just give us the choice to have lewd scene or not, so it's more of a kinetic novel.

An impressive work! This game is very good. I remove a star because too low fap/ non FAP ratio. And the story is too casual to be interesting for me. It worth to try, because it's a technical masterpiece.
