My game got to a state where I couldn't advance time and nothing seemed to be happening. At first I could still move around the map and interact with people. But on reload map disappeared and I basically couldn't do anything. Definitely could not advance in the game.

Its in beta testing still, when they finish with that then they will say something. Also don't think of it as an update more than a remake. there will not be any new content.

Can't really blame him, having to start over on another engine must've been a lot of work.
Let's just hope that from now on he will be able to deliver updates regularly.
