VN - Unity - Agent of Heels: Misadventures of Agent Romanov [v0.26.1] [beWilder]

O my God, this really is one of the hottest games out here. Since I am not into Marvel comics, it took me some time to realise that this game is a parody to well-known superheroes. Or rather a very lewd story set in a superhero universe. My lack of knowledge did not stop me from enjoying this game.

The female protagonist, Natasha (Nat) Romanov, is a very capable secret agent, being corrupted by mysterious forces. She looks like Scarlett Johannson, so I don’t think anyone could object to her appearance. She is a steaming hot redhead. My only concern with her is that I am convinced she is a psychopath. But aren’t all secret agents psychopaths? To paraphrase Mae West: If Nat has a gun in her pocket, she is happy to use it.

Agent of Heels is an example of excellent storytelling, it absorbed me from the beginning. I advise anyone to read it all, even though it is quite a lot. It is very rewarding.
The layout of the artwork resembles comic books, which adds to the experience of a comic parody. The other female characters, in particular the neighbour’s granddaughter, wicked young Kate, and knock-off Lycra wearing Catwoman, are just as weirdly appealing as the main character. The male characters fit perfectly in the type of story that is being told.

If you define sex as penetration, there is not much of it in this game yet [0.10.5b], but I think the photoshoot with Nat and Kate and the dance contest you can let Nat participate in, are horny as hell without even getting very physical. In both cases it is not what Nat does, that makes it hot, but what she might have done if she were given the chance.

I noticed that the developers are actively present on f95zone.

This is one of the most positively surprising games I've played in a while. There's actually multiple different routes to choose from, and no "fake" choices that ends your game if you don't choose the correct one.
The stats system is simple, and nice. There are plenty of space for future content, things that are not relevant to the main plot, but random encounters while doing secondary actions during the day.

The character is HOT, very well done (I mean it's Scartlett Johansson, so ofc). Also I like the character because she's not a blackmailed idiot, she's a strong agent and can choose her own fate on most parts.

Really interested in waiting to see what future brings. It's only at version 0.10.5b at the moment of this review, but there's plenty of content.
Another thing that has to be praised, is the gradual implementation of corruption and relevant actions. The MC doesn't immediately turn into a cum-frenzied cock-fiend, which is really important for building suspense and excitement.
I definitely recommend this to any friend of female protagonist games.

This game could be decent but overall it's a big disappointment. I like the concept, the kinks aswell. Renders are okay but the game needs alot of work. A decent game that gets ruined.
I do not recommend this game to anyone who has access to internet porn!

It is an amazing game. There is a interesting story and beautiful agent Nat. I can´t wait for continue of this story. The sex scenes are very convincing and exciting. Unfortunately, there are not many. The visuals is excelent.

Pros:

Interactivity 7/10
Game - I like how there are 3 different modes based on previous choices. While some of the stats are rather useless , it is after all a 0.1 version. It is also smart to include small plot details on different paths if the clicker chooses to read which helps to give more information and understanding of Natasha's situation and the world she lives in.

From their page you can also tell the developers do try to make an effort with their patreons - wall papers, battle contests, frequent update news etc

Writing - 8/10
At the first run, I find the words to be rather lengthy (There is a lot of read, hello is this a porn game?). Even the porn scene narrative were unusually long but it was then I realised hey this seems like erotic novel writing. After that, I stopped left clicking and started reading the narrative like I was reading a actual book which is actually pretty decent. Its funny how perspective changes when you have a different mindset. Getting Spook involved is indeed the right choice.

Originality - 9/10
Comic view mode is interesting especially the choice differentiation scenes. Superhero parody is also something that hasn't been overused or even used at all when compared to the general porn meta u find these days. Even the writing is very different from what we are so used to.

Artwork - 9/10
Seriously you guys have outdone yourself on parody reference to SJ. Agent Romanov is every bit of what every fan / comic boys imagined of black widow gone wild. She is unbelievable smoking hot. Take the cake, you guys earned it.
Now it would have been more fun if Selina bear some resemblance to AH since the costume was adapted from BM rises but I am more than contended with SJ plus your version of CW is cute. Poison Ivy seems weird to me however , probably with the pink hair which I guess you cant use red coz of BW but why pink lol - Anyhow just a personal preference. Her body suit however is on point. Good pick! While on the body suit topic, yea it didn't spell sexy to me when BW wore it but on the second walk through when I saw poison ivy again, i was like ohhhhhh , now it make sense. Kind of like Batman and robin lol

Cons:

Save slots 6/10
For the love of god, give us more save slots. Becoz your artwork is that good, I wan to save every scene / plot but there is only 7 slots. Not to mention being a interactive game with 3 different routes, it is really hard to manage and play through. Not sure if 10 is the max for unity engine but if so, damn we are stuffed. I know you mentioned of a collection room before (pardon me for only being able to read first 20 pages which i gave up after) back in Feb this year. That may solve it if it can be implemented eventually.

User friendly 6/10
Don't get me wrong , game is straightforward - just choose and left click , duh lol. But the stats can be rather confusing, what is the difference between strength vs power, independence vs Will power, huh what?? Also what is with the alien icon when u flick over the stats, is it a bad stats? I think a explanation is required in the walk-through at the very least if its not in game.

Next is becoz there are different paths, players are encouraged to replay the game but scenes that we have watched before cant seem to be fast forward? That can be rather irritating. Or am I an idiot here as there is one but I didn't locate it?


In Summary, AOH has all the tools of becoming a great game that separates itself from the other standard porn meta games. If they can have enough patreon supporters , it will help in securing resources for more updates and I do feel they have what it takes to be a porn industry standard.

So guys, do support them in one way or another. Be it work of mouth, $1 patreon or even constructive criticism.

The Bad:
- English needs some help but not nearly as bad as other games I've played. Frequent spelling, grammar, and word choice mistakes but overall you can understand what the author is trying to say.
- The skill system is quite lacking. You have skills that you can develop throughout the game but they make little difference in how the game develops and unfolds. There are very few skill checks and the feature feels very underdeveloped. It could be a great feature but in it's current format feels like a let down and disappointment.
- Some bugs in the game such as time advancing more than it should. Sometimes performing one task in the morning will result in the time jumping from morning until evening.
- The game is very rigid in what can be performed on each day. The game isn't very flexible when it comes to performing tasks. Example: Day 2 you are supposed to do this, Day 3 you are supposed to do this, etc. with little flexibility. The game plays out like reading a book where you can't move pages to a different order. The game is also fixed to 14 days and if you don't finish your quests in 14 days you are forced to be done.
- Needs more options (which are optional) for sex. There are dozens of places where the main character could get into sexual encounters but the player is never given the choice.
- The player is groped and treated like a sex object a lot in the game and the player almost always has to go along with it. I wish there was an option to move away or slap the offender in many cases.

Beautiful game - nice plot, good arts, several routes. Some annoying mechanic but it a small fly in the masterpiece. BeWilder developer of this beauty have one more project, but updates a going well it is rarity in our time. Hope this game would be example for inconsistents developers that captivated niche.

Version (0.8.0): Good plot for the moment. There is action, charm and adventure. The visual is innovative and dynamic. I think for now the story is just a little linear although some choices will unlock bonus content from time to time. Skills only seem useful for the moment on rare occasions.
4 * for the adaptable moment according to the continuation of the story.

The renders and the writing are stellar, and both improve significantly as the game progresses. The choices are very impactful; so far you can play Black Widow in 3 pretty distinctive ways, one of them being your typical female MC corruption. The comic book style panels are also a nice touch. This game is a shining beacon of hope in a sea of mediocre incest simulators.

A completely new spin on superhero parody VN's. A rich and engaging story that is both sexy and entertaining while staying true to both the source material yet providing high quality adult renderings. The art is outstanding and the interface is fresh and fun like a comic should be.

Solid game so far, nice visuals and a variety of sexy characters. The statistics you can earn start having an effect, which is nice to see. Also nice to see is the idea that you can indeed chose quite different options with different outcome.

For example you can interrogate someone the bad cop way, or chose to be the good cop. But this time the good cop is also a sexy, red headed vixen thats squeezing out information and other things out of her more and more willing subject. And if you didnt like an option, you can also quickly chose to replay it without loading.

The game is also a good choice for people that want a change from the more vanilla types, and experience something else. Not necessarily only dark themes, as you have the choice after all, but also more deviant, dirty ones if you want.
After all, whats fantasy for, if not to maybe try something different.

The game is nothing like I have ever seen before. Gotta give props to Dev, creating new high standards for competitors on how a game should be. The story is nice, Artwork is fantastic( even the model resembles the real-life actress who played agent Romanov which is scarlet), feels like you playing an AAA title game.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.5 Exclusive...

Well I played/read through this one and it was highly creative going with a more comic book vibe... And I did love the way choices were visually presented and how the story truly played out based on the choice you made... The visuals were stunning and the artistry shined...

Only issue I saw with visuals, was how when it was dark outside, some of the location choices appeared as daytime when it was actually night time... May want to make night time versions of all those events (i.e. swimming, stretching, running in the park, etc.) in order to keep the continuity in check...

As to the script, I did enjoy the story for the most part (except for the tentacle killing your lover scene, I was very turned off by killing someone while having sex with them, and the scene with the foot fetish followed by killing the prisoner scene, both felt extremely sadistic)... The only issue I had with the writing it's self, is that it was full of minor broken English (probably from how it was translated and interpreted), spelling errors, misused words, and grammar errors... But it wasn't terrible, as I could still get the points that the author was trying to portray, and I sorta figured out what words were really intended, even when the word was wrong for the context it was being used in... I did get a S&M vibe from the author since it played out in several scenes... Even though it did walk a fine line, not always seeming to be consensual...

I can see that this story is wanting to push towards themes of dark story telling, not your normal erotic corruption story, but actual Evil type corruption, which for me is a bit disturbing... It's one thing to read a horror story, but a horror story where sex is used to kill and destroy in horrible and sadistic ways, or at least keeps pushing in that direction, I don't find that interesting or fun to read...

This visual novel/comic is more of a niche type story, made for a smell sect of people into dark erotica... So reader beware, if that is not your thing, you may wanna avoid this one... It's not complete yet, but it has enough so far to know full well what direction/s the author/s are intending to take the story... Will it have a happy ending or not? Who knows at this point, have to wait and see... Me personally, I will NOT follow up on this one as it's not something I like reading about... Even though the visuals are fantastic and creative, the darkness of the plot is NOT something I wanna be reading, since you are playing a protagonist that is perpetrating that sort of darkness...
