I'm working (once again) on a 1950/1960s retrofuturism Noir/detective agency "encounters" series...
The detective's smart secretary: "The boss wants to see you. And maybe we could go to the movies and have a nice dinner afterwards on monday... ?"
The detective's boss:
"All clues are leading into the high society. PLEASE don't fuck this up! You should speak with the new DA, don't get distracted by her killer legs. And maybe we could do a trip with my sailing boat next month?"
The new and slightly mysterious (and well dressed) DA. "The police is in the dark, since why I contacted your agency, for some inofficialy deeper penetration... ... ...You should start with victim's former associates. respectively the ex-wife and the widow of them. They might know something about the dirty laundry... And since this is an off-the-record meeting, I thought we could have dinner afterwards?"
