I use both in parallel, but unfortunately I suffer with the XL when using controlnet. It doesn't even work as well as I'd like, even though I've reinstalled it a thousand times, looked at tutorials, but no. Besides, the XL tends to run out of 12GB VRAM if I turn on some extensions.

The same, xl need many resource and with my 6Gb Vram i'm able to made low-res image. CUI manage better memory than a1111 and i'm able to get some image at mid quality with it. May try it on next new PC, or wait SD3 and see what it can do.


Today i'm working with horror image and in something for getting better detail.
