No haven't tried I'll try it and see what happens. I'm hoping that forge just needs to be optimized.
With Hires it seems to depend on the type of image, a photo realistic image takes forever, but a more anime or toon or 2D look takes way less time. Image size my even play a part but idk haven't tested a lot cause I get discouraged and stop using it.
Without Hires it takes the same amount of time as it normally would using pony/sdxl. Sometimes even less.

Maybe it's just cause you need a 4090. Idk but smh...

For clarity I have a 3060 12gb vram. It usually takes me between 2-3 mins for pony/sdxl images with Adetailer and Hires.
Usually takes me about 6-10 min for Flux images once upscaled.
I like Flux but it's just not very feasible for me.
Might revisit it occasionally but I'll stick with Pony mostly.
Just thought I'd share lol.
