AI Dungeon keeps getting worse and worse. Not only is this a shame due to censorship but it makes me wonder what other backend uses the monitoring software could be used for. Good thing there's still good old fashioned ERP with live humans.

NAI is great! But I don't think it's a solid alternative yet. Honestly think I'd suggest people play around with Holo AI for a few months and check in on NAI occasionally.

Holo is easier to use and has a smaller learning curve. I think once things settle down, the "Researcher" stuff calms down a bit, and more fan-made content gets pumped out then use NAI. Right now it is a bit convoluted to the point that 4chan is the most reliable and stable source for just about anything. Which is crazy when you think about it.

Holo may not be as customizable as NAI, or as powerful as NAI or Dragon, but it is stronger than Griffin and more customizable that AID. It is also the cheapest option outside of the free Kobold.

Gave them feedback that they've basically ruined their business model for good this time, and deleted my account. I already have a folder of text files saved on my HD with most of my writing anyway, so I won't miss much.

I dunno if any of the other free alternatives sound worth it to me so far, especially when it comes to using them purely for explicit adult content. I considered downloading and teaching an AI model on my own for a while, but it seemed like a lot of effort for something that I wasn't that invested in anyway. Plus I'm not sure how well my CPU would handle it anymore. Shits gettin old.

The only real free alternative is Kobold AI, but honestly it's a pain in the ass and privacy is questionable at best (hosted through Google). If you can get around those problems tho, or get Kobold to run locally which would need a minimum of 8 VRAM to work but it works as slow as two snails trying to push three snails. 16 VRAM is ideal for Kobold. But even if you do get it running locally, there a whole other series of shit to put up with lol.

As for Holo and NAI, neither are free and are subscription based. There aren't any other real alternatives out there.

OpenAI banning all porn is... meh. At least they're consistent I guess? I think it's disappointing, but as long as they're not insulting people who like porn and the technology is available for other people to make their own version of the service then it's sort of just at about the level of the Apple App store or Youtube I feel like.

I am unsure about what the fuzz is about. Griffin is not using the open AI model and dragon already has the alternative model in beta. About NAI I am unsure if it is any good as I have been unable to do anything without a paid subscription and i don't plan to link my credit card to a place in which I create porn. So currently Ai dungeon seems to be the best free alternative.

Which AI story thing is the best ,I really want to try one of those but im broke so which one can I get the most out of without ,well paying? ai-dungeon novel ai, holo ai or something else ?

In case you don't pay anyway, you could try all of them. BUT!
In about 2 months NAi will have 20B model, in about 2.5-3 months they will have such model finetuned. So things will change.

I recommend NAI anyway and can't w8 for 20B !!!

Seems Ai dungeon has completely dropped Open AI. On griffin porn creation is working fine. I have heard there are some repetition issues with the new model provider of dragon AI21. Also there seems to be anew closed beta of griffin but who knows what's going to happen with that.

I mean yeah, Latitude is dropping OpenAi to run their own version of the AI so the NSWF is less filtered, they even lowered the gravity of the flag mechanism so you aren’t really flagged anymore but the AI just doesn’t answer however you are still far from the freedom of past AID, a lot of prompt will just block the AI, if you want to bang your step-mom or mother it’s not on their watch! Sister fine tho. Like a wise man from reddit once said, look like Latitude head dev always live in fear of that Xbox guy who said he was going to bang his mom.

Porn creation on Dungeon Ai seems to be chugging along fine as usual. I've had a couple of scenarios depublished but they actually skirted the noncon line very closely. Though my other 10+ scenarios proudly tagged as dubcon, netori, impregnation and uglyBastardProtagonist seem to be doing fine.

If you mean AI dungeon your best bet is to click the search icon, select the scenarios tab(optionally disable safe search and click published to search all scenarios[including all users]) and input either tags #something or some text in the descriptions to look for whatever you want. After that you can just play the scenario. After you get some more experience you will probably wish to experiment with the memo button and put there a synopsis of what is happening or what you wish to happen.
As you get even more experience the next steps would be WI and scripting. But those last two can be avoided as long as you just want to play with premade scenarios, specially if they are well made.
