does this game have a photo mod? the only why I know how to take pictures is by saving them as new characters cards.

Not sure about a photo mod but when you're in character creator mode and you press "spacebar" on your keyboard it will hide the UI on the screen for you take screenshots. Then press "F11" on your keyboard and it will save a screenshot in your main game's folder under "UserData/cap".
Most of your assets are normally under your UserData folder. So you can put your own imgs and stuff in there as well as cards.

Also if you press "F2" it'll show you an img of all the keybinds or shortcut keys for what they do during creation or gameplay.
