Gloomy is a miss-translation really. What it actually does is make the girl ignore her surroundings, so she does whatever even if there are other people around. But that's just my suspicion. To be real, read the official guide, saw that these 2 traits are a must (Gloom and Likes Girls) and just followed that.

If you're talking from SVS or HC, you just need to put it in the convert folder, then save them as AiComi characters for them to show up. Alternately, if you mean that they're like a jpg, that just won't work 'cause the pngs from other games/people have the extra data to load everything for the character into the game.

The cards i was tryin to add were downloaded from the AICOMI card sharing thread.
Even then i put those cards into the convert folder to no change.

Ah that's probably because the images that are uploaded directly to f95 try to save as .avif files. I don't actually know what those are, but it looks like some people have taken to uploading their cards to the thread in a zip file to preserve the png data. Added one that way to check and it worked out fine.

Some last complaining, I went and skipped ahead to the festival, but the game decided that since a girl told me about it at the beginning of the week, I had to go with her, and there was no walking around or anything beyond scenes of festival activities with her and then ending the day

I see this game doesn't allow for pulling characters straight from the internet, which is pretty lame when SVS did since it allowed for spontaneity in who you got each time you made a new save file.

Where are you even coming from with this? It does allow you to put characters from the Internet just fine, I did so with bunch from official website, pixiv and yuki-portal. Issues starts only if any of the .png files that you put is in fact not a Aicomi card, then none card shows up until you remove the problematic file. If you have issue most likely one of the files you put there is either corrupted or not a character card for Aicomi at all. Keep adding them one by one and see when it stops working, then you find your problematic file.

Maybe he's talking about the "in game" uploader/downloader option that doesn't work, not downloaded cards.

dbuck has it right, I'm talking about dropping characters into my class in game from the internet. Of course you can download cards, that's how most Illusion games worked for over a decade, but since SVS allows you to grab other people's creations without having to do that there was an unknown factor in play because you never know what character's you'd get or what extensive modding they went through. Also it made sure I wasn't using the same characters over and over and over and saved time downloading a whole mess of cards or relying on repositories down the line.

It depends on your IP. All non Japanese IP are banned... in theory. In real only big countries IP are banned, some smaller countries are not black listed.

No interaction between each of the characters, no stripping the clothing off the characters, any change done to them during any interaction is undone after you're done with them. Game is harder to run since the map is wider but its not a big deal. Graphics is better in my opinion.

I do agree that game is lacking but the SVS feature of keeping the stripped cloths after H scene is entirely a mod/plugin, not stock game feature. Chances are we will get it here too.

Characters keeping their clothes off is a mod, not a part of the base game. And characters not interacting between each other is a... "feature" of koikatsu also heavily critiqued back then, so its old news (although still relevant)

My First Impression
- Basicly Koikatsu + Sunshine + AIShoujo
- Big Open Field just like AIShoujo + Interior
- Visual is pretty unique, but world looks like Yakuza level graphic
- Performance is pretty heavy, my R5 5500 + RX6600 is screaming for help

edit 1 : for people with same specs, DO NOT PUT MORE THAN 10 GIRL, this game has VRAM issue it always maxed out 7700MB VRAM whatever graphics setting. My CPU is sitting at 30% while GPU is 99%.

I'm running an i7 9700k and a 2070 Super with 24 gb of ram and I'm still getting stutters.

I will try later on my other beefier computer but it's a shame that I really like the game (because I'm a sucker for koikatsu), but the optimization of this game seems quite lackluster.

The game is heavier to run this time around. I have a laptop 4070 and i barely get 60 fps when sitting still, around 50 fps most of the time, my settings are turned all the way down. If you're wanting to play the game more than 50 fps you would need a stronger gpu.
