The animations in this game are great, shame there's not gonna be any NTR, hardly anyone does custom animations for NTR. I don't know why it was such an issue, even the vanilla scenes in this are optional, why would optional NTR be so bad?

there is literally thousands of NTR games my dude, why does it always feel like when a good vanilla game comes out the dev gets flooded with ntr requests. like just find a different game
Gonna 2nd that. If the dev decides not to have NTR in the game, then there will be no NTR. IF you are truly so obsessed with NTR, go become a major supporter for a dev who fullfils your request or do it yourself.
I really love the development of this game and if I had the budget I'd gladly support it. Don't want to see it having scope creep for serving any genres the dev did not initially planned for.
Lol, most NTR games suck ass. Unanimated, RPGM, MTL trash. Also, have you seen an NTR thread? Everyone complaining that the game should have no NTR at all, I rarely see people asking for NTR in other games (other than me right now). The only reason I am specifically asking here, is because this game was originally intended to have NTR, but that was rescinded. This game is still good without it, I just think it would be neat to have.
Honestly it's the dev's own fault. He was initially promising NTR content and then cancelled it after the backlash. I'm happy with it being cancelled but luring in NTR players with a false promise and pulling the rug out from under their feet pretty well guarantees that we get this kind of nonsense in the thread.
Where did the dev promise that? The earliest mention of possible NTR is from Nov 27, 2023. There is also only the mentioning of netorase (MC enjoys the 'cheating') "almost sure" to be added, while netorare and netori is probable.

Now, you can decide how to process this information but there were NO promises whatsoever. Dev said everything was open to discussion/inclusion and at some point a decision was made NOT to include NTR. Don't throw allegations without proof, it just fans the flames of unnecessary flaming/slandering on F95. If you find any promises for NTR behind a pay-walled patreon post, please provide a screenshot of said comment. Otherwise I assume you just take projections/rumors for real.

I feel like you're massively misinterpreting my comment anyway. I'm happy that there's no NTR, but the dev's comments on it absolutely did lure NTR fans to the project before he announced no NTR which has a negative effect on the long term discourse. No different if a dev promised a harem path and then cancelled it out of the blue. It invited NTR fans to express their displeasure about being lured into the project just to have their eventual pay-off be cancelled.
I feel i've started an argument that I wasn't meaning to have. I am perfectly okay with this game NOT having NTR, while I personally enjoy it, it isn't a deal breaker, by any means. When this game first came out, it seemed possible that it would, or at least could, have NTR content, which again, I thought was neat. When the Dev eventually said there would be no NTR, I was disappointed, but I am still going to play every update because the Dev made a good game. NTR is not at all necessary for my own enjoyment, and I don't care whether it's added in at any point or not, I personally like it, but I am fine without it.
I'll take the point about the the indecision and especially the way comment was stated is being a foot in the door for NTR-fans.
Although probability vs. "there will be ntr/ntr is planned content" is minor yet important difference. And to be frank: I think it is Akaime's first game. As such I will give the dev the benefit of the doubt, he/she didn't plan out all the content ( maybe even fully the story) so I would definitely be more forgiving on this one.
I know many money-milker devs to circlejerk around promises / obscuring the definite content but so far this game delivers on quality in a reasonable timeframe.
Maybe this incident will be taken as a lesson and for the future there will be either no statement or something like: "I haven't thought about it, let me revisit this, as soon as I have something concrete".
