Alerts button

How do I prevent clicking on alerts buttons taking me to alerts page? I just want the little alert window to pop up and not load another page.

Clicking a single time on the bell opens the window for me, double clicking loads the full alerts page.

Unfortunately my mouse likes to double click a lot. Was hoping there was a setting I could disable.

I can't see anything, but if there was it would be in preferences.

If your mouse is over-sensitive, maybe you could slow down the double-click speed.
Probably there is a way to prevent the browser to open the Alerts page: like a Tampermonkey script? I don't know.

Anyway, on my keyboard two shortcuts work:
- dot (.): it shows the alerts
- comma (,): it shows the conversations
Of course they do not work when you're writing a post.

Try them, I don't know if they work for everybody. I'm using Linux + Google Chrome.
If you have any issue, maybe report it on Forum Problems.

That's awesome thanks. Too bad it likes to highlight things in alert window, but I can live with that.
