The expression ‘don't judge a book by its cover’ takes on its full meaning here. Looking at the game's title page, you'd think we were dealing with superheroes straight out of a DC comic or Marvel. Wrong!
Then you have a prologue that seems to plunge you into a rather interesting, if somewhat déjà vu, plot - the super-soldier turned incorruptible cop - who, while on patrol, comes to the rescue of the damsel in distress, who, we later discover, is hiding a deadly secret, which also suddenly earns him a target on his back, so he has to flee with the strange young woman.
I'm not going to say much more about what others have already assessed as far as I'm concerned. After the prologue, there's an avalanche of inconsistencies in the plot, regardless of which path you choose, sloppy H scenes in terms of animation, almost no choice of different angles and numerous framings not even worthy of an amateur photographer, not to mention the ridiculous postures of the characters in each scene, as well as their facial expressions. Graphics wise, only the lighting is halfway decent, and that's a shame because the girls are really pretty and aren't copy-pasted from other games.
Lots of references to well-known characters (Shadow, Winter, Black Widow...) and an over-repeated reference to Porubahuba, which is probably why there are far too many POVs in the scenes, one of the most detestable things in porn today, at least in my opinion.
It could have been a very good game, with a fairly solid plot in the setting, but it all falls apart very quickly. A professional hitwoman (Black Widow) is hired to kill another hitwoman (who is supposed to kill the MC) and misses. She is then hired to kill the MC, but misses her target by shooting his friend Chris. The MC promises his widow to avenge his death, but all he does is fuck everything with two legs in the safe house. I'm even surprised he didn't try to bang the poor widow and her maid too, while he's at it. So, forget the revenge of the friend killed in his place, forget the main plot, which revolves around Alison and her secret, her alter ego Alice being the AI built into her. What's left are the attempts at humour, like Daddy's jokes, and the many puns, both clumsy, that just make you smile from time to time.
But what I'd give this game a score of 1 (because 0 is impossible) is the horrible attempt at manipulation, in the form of a warning during the game's launch, along the lines of, this game contains a lot of dialogue, so if you don't like reading, this game isn't for you. Really? Trying to make us think there's a lot of dialogue, to compensate for the cruel lack of images in each scene? And has a half-hour internal monologue magically become dialogue? Maybe you should stop taking us for fools, eh? I'm still going to give it a 2/10 out of generosity (for the beautiful chicks) and because it seems to be the Dev's first game.
