Playtime: 3-4 hours
Overall: I quite enjoyed the game's dress-up aspect and rouge-like elements. While a little over half of the scenes are monster-rape, they're pretty easy to avoid if you're not here for that and the scenes in town are a lot less rapey. It's a solid showing for the dev's first game.
Good:
- Alissa's cute.
- The dress-up options are well-developed. While the armor and helmets you can get drop randomly, you can always choose Alissa's underwear and customization options (things like suntan, pubic hair, lewd crest, assorted glasses, etc) and even change them in the dungeon. The proper armor is often just armor, but the lighter armors can be quite revealing so there's also some bonus exhibition to be had.
- The way you find random equipment helps spice up each expedition and inform your play-style. For example, I had an expedition where the equipment I found cleared damage-over-time effects at the end of turn and highly resisted magic damage, so I could basic attack through a good number of encounters but needed to burst down physical-attacking enemies. The next expedition I only found normal armors, so it was casters that I had to spend all my TP on that time.
- There's a robust built-in cheat menu. I think it's really nice when devs realize not everyone wants to play their game in the way it was intended. Maybe you just want to check the CGs. Maybe you want to add a bunch of money, upgrade all the hats, then go adventuring with just a hat and pasties. Probably you'll just cut a bit of grind out of the mid-game.
- While there are only 2 exhibition events, there's bonus exhibition to be had by adventuring with very little on. You can't leave the inn naked, but nothing stops you from adventuring commando once you get in the dungeon. It's a small thing, but I really like having the option.
- Running has a very high (nearly guaranteed) success rate. I've played games like this where you can only evacuate at certain times, so it's nice to be able to leave immediately after realizing the enemies in this new area hit too hard.
- It's a short game but doesn't feel particularly rushed or lacking content. If you want a nukige you might be disappointed (though again: you can just unlock all the events with the cheat menu), but if you only get 1.5 days off per week you may also appreciate a game you can actually finish.
Bad:
- This game isn't really the best to show off it's "adjust your equipment based on your enemy" system. Combat typically only lasts a few turns, so you're usually better off just fireballing the enemy three times than spending a turn switching to a spear and stabbing him twice. Bosses need more prep, but you'll probably need to evacuate the first time you encounter them anyway.
- You can't skip floors (you can buy the option to find the next floor faster though) and there's no auto-battle option so the game is grindier than it needs to be, but then again you can just use the built-in cheats to skip this grind.
- The ending is pretty weak. Sure, most people don't play these games for the story, but I think a little more would've been nice.
YMMV:
- The game's DLsite page says "Over half of the events involve anal, and all of it is hardcore!" and you can take their word for it. Sure, there's some normal anal, but also stuff like anal fisting, gaping, and large insertions. I'm not well versed in the kink so I can't really speak to the specific quality, but I imagine anal-enoyers would appreciate the deviation from garden-variety anal.
- A significant majority of the game's scenes are monster rape and/or anal. If those aren't your speed then there's only a handful of H-content for you.
- Pregnancy content is event-only.
- The blacksmith only has one scene, but it is a bonus scene that was added later as thanks for all the support so I'll take what I can get.
