VN - Ren'Py - All My Girls [v0.21] [MDYetiLab]

This game is rough, especially in the beginning. Overall the plot is nothing to amazing, models and animation are a bit basic, and the scripting is very basic.
BUT
As the story moves forward these things do improve. They get better grammar, action, even animation.

Could have been a great story and even has harem tag but killing one of the Li's is bad and will end bad for people that wanted to support the game.
So just be warned before playing the dev is killing the Li's
So no need for me to support the woman i liked the most is already dead in the game.

Updated review for All My Girls v0.21:

On the upside, the English writing has drastically improved. I even restarted the game from the beginning to see if the earlier dialogue had been rewritten, but it's still not very good, so I don't think it was. Gameplay now seems to offer different choices that are worth checking out, so that's another improvement.

On the downside, the story is still just cliché after cliché. Facial expressions are occasionally still weird, animations aren't smooth, the head-to-toe panning is low-resolution (why bother), and the quantity of content is decreasing for the time between updates.

I bumped my rating up to a 3. That game is worth a look, now.

Summary: This game has a below-average story and it happens to be the best part. The whole thing seems like it was conceived by a teenager. Other reviews say the game has improved. If so, I'm glad I didn't play it before. It may eventually get better, but it'll never be good (or even average) without a complete re-write and remastering. For now, it's really not worth the time to download and play.

Story: 2.5/5 - Pretty average in terms of the setup for the sexy fun, but way too many clichés and stereotypes. Some of the interactions between the MC and girls are cringeworthy.

Writing: 2/5 - It's terrible "Engrish". Maybe the French option is better.

Art/Renders: 2/5 - The render quality would've been average more than 5 years ago. Most of the female models are OK, but the male models are ugly. Facial expressions are frequently weird. Body poses are sometimes weird.

Animations: 2/5 - Just unnatural looking and very noticibly lower resolution than the renders. Like the renders, they would've been average more than 5 years ago.

Gameplay: 3/5 - Not much of a gaming experience and that's good. But most of the choices are whether or not to peek on various girls.

Content: 2/5 - It's got the right amount of content for a year of development. It uses the typical lame dream sequence to get lewd content early in the game. The lewd content isn't very erotic because the animations are poor.

Grading this on an early game curve, as I always do.

Just a note to other reviews. The dev listened to feedback and made some changes towards them, which bolds well for the future of the game. Devs that listen are the best.

Overall I see a lot of potential in this game. It has a good assortment of LIs and fun girls. The story is a good base, but is a bit jumpy right now. May need a bit more fill and warm up before jumping into things.

I would spend a little time on the story to work out the flow a little better.

The graphics are good, not top notch, but good. Animations are also about the same.

Look forward to future releases and will update rating as it goes.

MC speaks for me as well. I don't care to see meaningless sex scenes in a dream. I'd prefer sex scenes that actually move the relationships in story directions. Dream sequences are pretty much okay for me only when they move the story forward in an interesting an entertaining way.

Other notes where there can be improvement:

Give the MC more agency about what's going on. The option to make the lady boss stop sexual harassment should be the MC standing up for themselves, ideally, instead of the way it's implemented now.

I don't want to see the old male boss dude having sex with anybody. There is an option to skip looking at it, that's a plus. But later it's become blatant the old fart is using the workplace as his own bachelor pad. I'd tone that down and focus more on the MC, we're invested in them not the boss. But that's just my two cents.

The angry daughter is a tired character. I wouldn't mind playing a game where there isn't some girl screeching "pervert, pervert, pervert, hentai!" in the MC's face.

What do I like about this game? The MC seems to be a nice guy. Girls don't scare him. I like the first neighbor lady, she helps out and is pleasant. So, a couple characters have some redeemable qualities.

The writing can definitely be improved. There are definitely inconsistencies with the coma story which can be fixed.

The sex scene animations aren't the worst I've ever seen, but they certainly need improvement.

I like the neighbor lady and MC's very basic friendly dynamic, that would be the only reason I'd return to see how this game progresses.

lets not kid ourselves. this is pretty bad.
i scoff at anyone who can rate this beyond 2 stars as not only does it do a massive disservice to the developer by over rating them, but it also sticks two fingers up at the few developers on here who have created some seriously good works. if fate/stay night and leap of faith are 5 star then this is not even close.
learn some perspective

some of the art is okay but some is just strange looking.. lots of room for improvement but as it is an apparent attempt at a VN then it has to do better.

and then we come to the writing.....
my impression is that the writer is either underaged for this site or barely past the age requirement. there is no sign of maturity in the writing or the plot at all. in fact it is really bad.
ok it's an adult game and doesn't need to be poetry that leaks off the page in silken tones, but it does need to be something you read that doesn't feel like your IQ is leaking from your ears. it just has no scope of vocabulary.
it just reads like the bare minimum to link scenes as opposed to telling any real story.

i just cannot see any sign that the developer/s give much of a toss beyond some effort in visuals and throwing sex scenes at us to induce the weak minded into high ratings.
it could be a lot better with some effort in writing alone.

I had an accident 8 years ago, and spent 10 years in a coma. Am I the only one that can't wrap my head around this? Honest to god dialogue in the diner with your fellow employees.

Summary
So, it isn't awful, but it isn't on the level to be good or excellent. Maybe if the amnesia angle wasn't there and it was just the MC lost his job and decided to start over somewhere else, it would be better than a 3 star VN.
I'm not sure if the line mentioned above is just me not understanding, but could you fix that?
Brush up the writing and try not to run off the rails and this VN might turn out to be pretty good.

Don't be fooled by the tags listed here. This is not a harem game, unless the one with the harem is the MC's boss. You as the MC are nothing more then a voyeur watching others have sex instead of yourself.

Be wary if you are looking for harem/romance because you will not find that here.

A simple story with a lot of girls in the form of neighbours and co-workers

Writing & content

• jumps right into the story, none of that backstory intro nonsense
• the game comes closer to a porn game but the sexual encounters are at least justified and play out how you would expect
  • as such there isn't heavy dialogue but what is there is just enough to get to know the characters and situation
• MC's amnesia seems like a copout to avoid further character backstory or is indeed a placeholder for further backstory - as of now it just seems weird in it's current form as there's nothing connected to it in the story
• decent amount of lewd content for an early release
• option given if you want your supervisor to sexually harass you
  • personally wouldn't have mind if she looked more attractive

Graphics & animation

• the renders are relatively fine but there's some random overexposure
  • overall lighting could improve to match time of day
• refreshing face of a MC
• models look nice

• other graphical peeves:
  • MC's suit jacket is unnaturally puffy
  • the texture on Sophie's butt area looks too dry
  • when MC is walking the streets with Zoe, the placeholder models are a bit too noticeable

• Animation starts off fluid and you get
  • actions played out, e.g. when Sophie puts MC's dick in her mouth
• but the quality drops further in:
  • bad loops, e.g. Sophie cunnilingus
  • slow and mechanical animation, e.g. View 2 - Sophie's face during sex
• and a cowgirl scene (from MC's dream), I would have liked to see animated, gets downgraded to crossfade looping, i.e. fake animation

Sound

• diegetic audio, i.e. natural ambience, sfx, moans etc
• sex sounds sometimes don't match animation, e.g. View 1 - Sophie cowgirl

Easy going VN with decent sexual content but animation needs to return to it's original charm

i dont like the neighbor side i should say just delete completely but its little late for that. just focus on around the office and add some new hot assistents in the future etc and it ll be all good. you know we dont have many choices with this genre, you can take lessons from "the bastard" if u want they are similar games.

tl;dr its short, but i like the start.

Very good start! There's not enough games like this with simple, "realistic" setting without extreme fetish and when there are they usually involves incest which is not my cup of tea... Looking forward to the next chapter !
