For those of us in the US, there is a bill in congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. In otherwords, a direct fuck you to these puritanical cunts. It's called the Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R.987 in the House, S.410 in the Senate.

You don't have to convince your rep or anything, you just give them a call, say you support and want your rep to vote for this bill and add your voice to the list. That's literally it. Call your representatives. Get it passed.

Hell, if I was a game dev, I'd probably be putting a notice in my games for this. Wish F95 had a notice too. It's that important. For everyone else, feel free to copypaste this as you see fit in other threads, and spread the word. We can fight this.

No, "they" don't pursue that goal. They're not religious or conservative, nor do they belong to any political faction.

I still think this is the MindGeek's and HBO's of the world going after small time studios and developers because they want to corner the market.

Which would be problematic for them, if they have to compete with independent studios putting out quality products like "Away From Home", "University Of Problems", "WVM", "Grandma's House", and etc.

While that is true that trump destroyed it. Unfortunately it is irrelevant in this regard. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau would have protected people from fraud, but in this case they would have been toothless most likely. Since it is not about fraudulent activities, but arbitrary restriction of consumer choice.

So in that regard the Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R.987 rspkers talked about is more of a practical solution to this particular problem. But hey what do I know.

Hello everyone! New here, and the reason I found this site is because I was trying to redownload a game called Holstein Girls. Guess what? It was one of the banned ones. There was nothing actually illegal about the game but it fell under the crosshairs of Collective Shout. Furthermore, the developer was one of those who left no links or contact information. Luckily, there was a copy on this site or the game very well may have become lost media.


One thing I find interesting is that Collective Shout is based in Australia, and they're trying to control the sale of games in all kinds of countries. I mean you kind of expect it when the group is based in the U. S. (even though that's still not right) since a lot of major tech companies are headquartered there, but Australia? Other Australian groups have pulled similar things.

Change.org hardly made any change. It's not a petition platform to government like the Stop Skilling Game one. You should call your lawmakers. If you're too nervous to make a phone call like that, an email would still more impactful than change.org (it would probably be spam filtered, in that case it's as effective as change.org). If you live in a country where there is something equivalent to FTC you should send a complain to them (which I did).

If you live in the US (I dont know Europe/Asian equivalent), Please report Visa/MC for violating anti-trust laws. Content regulation to prevent illegal content and purchases is the responsibility of law enforcement. Payment companies have no right to tell you how to spend your own money, especially when they own a monopoly, which itself is an anti-trust violation as well.

What seems more funny is that 'No Mercy' triggered all of this, which is weird cause there are more disturbing games out there if we compare it with the story of 'No Mercy'. You guys remember the case of "Rape day" (or something like that) back in 2018 to 2020? Nothing happened and the game got banned from Steam and a lot of websites (Idk what happened to the creator)

Not to mention all the crazy eroge from the eastern side the world, we don't gotta cover all that its kinda weird of all things one the western visual novels was last straw for these second wave feminists since most visual novel consumers likely don't even read western VN.
