The milking is high on this one. 0 communication, 0 progress reports, 0 excuses. Silent Radio and light update with barely any content. The only good thing about this is the nice drawings.

Isn't the project unprofitable? What kind of milking can we even talk about? As far as I understand, they are engaged in the game in the background in addition to the main activity, there is simply no goal of actually making money. Art by the way my respect

Did he pause payments ? If you take money several months without delivering any updates, how do you call that ? Moreoever, as I mentioned in my previous post, didn't his last post, Feb 26, say that the update was almost completed ? Didn't he also say that he's going to make it up to his supporters, by delivering the next update faster ? Am I lying, making up some kind of fictional story or Am I only repeating what the Dev said himself ?

It's insane that people are still defending this dev's practice and are acting like the dev's not being sent hundreds of dollars every month. I had to quit arguing with someone that hadn't even paid into it.
The project would be more profitable if dev hadn't been dragging their nuts across all of the backers faces consistently for years. They used to have more backers but this has happened way too many times at this point.

Yo everyone. The update is almost done and will be released in the next few days.
I know I have been silent for a while, and the game development was also on hold. I had some personal issues that I had to deal with, and I apologize for the inconvenience. To make it up to you, I will work hard to deliver the next update (right after this one) as soon as possible, probably in a month or so. We have some amazing content and art to show you.

So what's the hold up?? These communications say nothing about why the few days have turned into over half a year. Their content was supposed to be Christmas winter content.....

Abandoned is an automatic status that happens when an update doesn't happen after a period of time, occurs to a lot of games with delays. If there is a release it will be reset.
I find it funny how people tend to get mad at game devs for porn games when in most cases they aren't making crazy amounts of money. Not to mention most of these games are often side projects for Devs who have other projects they are apart of or work other jobs that take priority.
I get the problem people have with projects that seem to stall out but I've supported projects that have stalled out worst then this, but that's because i don't hop on discord to see the interaction of the devs. In the case of Alvein I'm not a supporter so i have no dog in this race, aside form the fact that I enjoy the art and the game itself.
Personally, if your mad as a patreon of a game, I would evaluate your life choices as when you pledge money to a project, your putting money towards promise a game may eventually release. when in actuallity your usually supplimenting someone's side project that can easlily get abandoned because life happens. But what can i expect from those who never grew up to have a life of thier own. don't get me wrong im in the same boat, but I've had enouph shit happen in my own life, and a that side project I worked on, without ever releasing it, fell through. Shit happens and "fans" getting mad doesn't exacly help a dev get thier life back on track enouph to get a release out the door. If it still makes you mad that a project is stalled out, move on to other projects that make you happy, don't dwell on projects that piss you off for whatever reason. someone elses passion project isn't worth getting mad over, there is a litteral sea of games to play on this site, find one that meets your needs. Critic all you want but don't get mad over it. Its not your game, disatification happens, life happens, support what makes you happy because life is to short to be always pissed off. Remember these are just porn games, not everything has to be a personal attack on your morals, you are on a porn game forum after all.
