Well the dev posted Sept 17th on Patreon that they were back to work on on the game and that we should be expecting an update "very soon". Once (if?) the update drops then the abandoned tag can be removed.
but again the dev only said that the update is coming 'soon'. still no real details. so will there be a next post in February?

Dude check the tag, it's been tagged "abandoned" for a while now.
so no updates for over 6 months, then a lot of sorry sorry sorry soon there will be a big update. and now again two months no reaction at all
i love devs like this. nobody is asking for a big update every 2 months, but a 5-line info per month is really not too much to ask for.

Just because it has the Abandoned Tag it doesn't mean it stays this way. There were other Games who got the Abandoned Tag and still got updated.
No need for remakes yet.
