VN - Ren'Py - Completed - AlwaysFan [v1.0] [AtemX Games]

So after playing through this on v0.4 I have to say that I liked it a lot and there is seemingly quite a bit of effort put into making the two paths of love or submissive seem different. A lot of stuff does happen on both paths with at least on my playthroughs the submissive path being the one that has more extra content.

The story overall makes sense mostly in that there is an overly dependant girl who is an outcast and is drawn to the one person outside of her mother who's ever seemingly shown her kindness, this being the MC.

How the MC in turn handles this is what decides on what path you are on. Do you embrace, love and cherish her? Or do you exploit it and use it for your own benefits?

This is also where the story at least for me contradicts itself a bit in that the MC is showcased to being someone who is very kind and caring. He has also seemingly been that way for years but the second the player get's control and decides his actions we can either decide to continue the way he has been living or just seemingly possess him and force him to go the sub route. Personally I would have liked if there was something that showed why he had changed so drastically that would show up on the sub route to somehow explain why he is like this all of a sudden.

When it comes to the two paths the love path is probably my favorite even though it is a bit of a common trope some times just having a couple building their love for each other and having everyday struggles can be enough. It does go a bit weird with the whole harem thing though with the main heroine being a-okey with the MC cheating on her since she always dreamed of him having a harem and him being a part of it anyway. Which is not to say there aren't any open relationships or multiple partners relationships in real life.

Heck like a week ago I read about a married couple where the wife had fallen in love with a guy at her workplace and then since both the husband and that guy were bisexual as well the three of them started a polyamorous relationship and the wife having a bunch of kids with both of them and they are apparently living happily together. So it's not like "harems" don't happen in real life. Though in this case I have to say with how dependant the ML seems it feels more like she found out the MC cheated on her and was scared he would leave her so she made something up and then it just snowballed out of there, which honestly would make a lot of sense with how her character is portrayed.

When it comes to the sub path depending on how the MC decides to go this can go either from the MC just treating her badly, as his sex slave, being her pimp, cheating, swinging and even NTR against the MC. Though the NTR is very short and eventually just leads to the ML being reinforced on the idea that she can only depend on the MC.

There is a lot of build up on this path which makes it actually seem plausible compared to many games who focuses on this type of content. Since in this game at first the ML won't have anything to do with this and then the MC is just constantly pushing her into more and more depraved things while treating her like dirt (depending on your choices of course) which can eventually lead to her becoming somewhat of a nympho or starting to be stolen from the MC. Compared to many other games that just has the plot be something like Mega chad appears and has a bigger D and rapes the ML and then she just instantly becomes his sex slave or she's blackmailed and then after just a few more times becomes his sex slave. So again even though the sub path shows some pretty disturbing things and is not my favorite it is good in it's own way because of the build up and an at least sort of believable story around the subject.

When it comes to the gameplay it's a pretty straight forward VN where you just pick between 2 choices for the most part which often boils down to two ways depending on your path pretty much. If your on love path it's mostly do you want solo heroine path or harem path with a few chances to switch to sub path while on sub path it's more of a do you want solo/harem sub path or pimp/swinging/NTR sub path with quite a few chances to switch to love path.

The quiz show was honestly in my opinion a bit too hard as in it's like an actual quiz show lvl of questions and while you can just use the hint system to get the answer for each question it would have been more fun I believe if the questions were not so darn hard. Like for me going the love path I had to complete the 6/8/10 right out of 10 questions part or get a game over and luckily at least two of the categories are areas I am fairly knowledgable in namely animals and video games but even then I had to google/cheat on some questions. Now again this isn't to say this is bad it's just that I believe for the average player it would have been more enjoyable if the questions were a bit hard but at the same time were mostly questsions that the layman could answer or would know. This is however a fairly small part of the game and again the game gives you a cheat sheet if you so desire.

Getting a bit longwinded here but all in all I'd say this is a so far great game and I'm looking forward to whats to come.

I had quite regular expectations because I am not a fan of ntr but I was surprised for good by very good content and a story, although quite convenient, entertaining, in terms of sexual content it is very complete in all aspects and its duration denotes the work of the author, I really appreciate that the story progresses quickly in the sexual content without seeming particularly forced and the choices feel quite precise there are few irrelevant choices being almost all very direct, very good graphic quality and animations.

Not everything is perfect the interaction of the characters outside of emilie is quite regular causing you to lose the thread of their stories and in the part of the questions the number of them seems a bit high to me

With all this I consider that the game is a 4.5 but since I don't know if it can be put that I will put a 5

The love path is exactly what I want in every game. Amazing. The dudes look super weird, but who cares about the dudes. The submissive path isn't for me, but that's why they are different paths. Highly recommend.

The story is good and interesting and it have some drama. The decisions matter, in the story and in the relationship you have with the girls. The bad thing and why I rate this so low are the quizzes, it make sense that they are there, but they are so many that the game feels more like homework than a game. because it ask you about the world war 1, the war of 1812, and a lot of things that you won't know because you aren't an encyclopedia or a history book. This game has the same problem that other game in the forum, where you are dating a girl in a museum and she ask you about art, "who painted that?", "what it represents that paint?" "is this abstract or what it is?" The answers I gave her were "I don't fucking know, I'm here to have a good time, nor to teach you or take a test." And then I unninstalled that game in the same way I just did with AlwaysFan.

First, I love the idea of an Albino LI, I can't recall any other VNs featuring one so that was great.

However, Emilie's features are far too cartoonish. Her body is unrealistic, and her face is very, uwu-anime-ish.

The dynamic between her and the MC on the romance path is very wholesome, but the constant sex is a bit annoying, because said sex scenes aren't anything particularly amazing, just fine.

I also can't stand harem games, so as soon as the open relationship thing got mentioned I audibly groaned.

On a positive note, this VN clearly has passion behind it, as well as having A LOT of content thus far.

I'm sure you'll like this one more than I did, but I'm going with 3 stars for the effort.

Actually fantastic. I've only played the romance path, but there are several paths available.

Renders are okay, but most of the girls are fantastic. Favorite body is Abby, who we've only just met and is unfortunately a side girl, but while she may be a 10 there are at least 4 9's to induct into your harem. Animations started a biz hazy (lower res?), but improved overtime.

I like that, since the basis of this story is running an AlwaysFan page, that you get some interaction with that outside of just some dialogue. Would be cool to add more functionality to it, but still nice as-is.

The story does not disappoint at all. The LI's have history - some dark, some dark. There is a main LI (Emili), but it looks like she might even be optional as the rest of the girls are. Choices 100% matter here. We meet the antagonist early on and the hatred towards him develops over the story. And man, I can't wait to bring him down.

Minor spelling/grammar issues, but nothing that can't be overlooked in the face of this story itself. Definitely give it a try - it won't disappoint.

This game reminded me the reason I play these games. You can play as a romantic ; my least favorite way of playing. I loved playing the corruption route. There were a plethora of scenes, but it made me care about not going too far in corruption. Also it makes sense that the girl's face is weird because of her backstory. She was bullied and ignored by her peers because of the way she looks. It wouldn't make a lot of sense for her to look like a model in the face after leaving school because that's not how life works. So if you complain about how her face looks go look in the mirror.

This game is great in every way except for the female MC's model. It has a good amount of choice and replay value. Some of the sex scenes are really hot, and the photoshoots are great.
But the female MC looks like she has some disability. Almost ruins the game...

Good game. Some of the girls look a bit strange, eyes too far apart maybe but I still enjoy the models. A lot of sex content for being a version 0.3 so I really like that. Stories not bad either.

So overall a 4/5

I really loved this game,. Specially the romance path was a very wholesome experience for me. Also if you want to go the 'dark path' way, then be ready cause it goes pretty dark. But I love the fact that it's never too late to fix the relationship between the MC and his partner so far in the plot. The female MC had a toddler face tho, which is the only con in my opinion.

All in all the story is a 10/10 for me.
Animated scenes are 9/10.

Wow this is a great game!!

The story is engaging and the characters immediately got my attention because they are well written and feel like real people.

I tried to play both routes at the same time but I had to stop playing the darker one after reaching a couple of bad endings. This was due to how well written the characters and story are. I really empathized with Emilie and just couldn't stand seeing what my choices were doing to her.

The nicer route is very well done and has also a lot of eroticism and hot scenes in it, but the tone is much nicer and I would even define it as wholesome in many parts.

The models are nice even though at times mixing the different art styles of some of them feels a bit weird. I really liked the animations and the fact that each night you can chose which scene to see.

I am really looking forward to the next updates and will be purchasing this game once it is completed, a well deserved 5/5.

While I downloaded and played AlwaysFan for the (very optional) NTR content, I stayed for the beautifully-written protagonist, Emilie. She's incredibly crafted. I usually don't care about VN characters, but I found myself sympathizing with her far too often. Kudos to the author for that.

Easy 5* if you're looking for the standard vanilla yadda yadda, 5* for NTR fans as well. I will say that some of the NTR is quite painful to watch, so if that's not normally your jam you'll probably want to steer clear of it.

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD:
There are two routes to seducing Emilie, romantically or as her master (making her your submissive). I chose the latter, which initially gave us the relationship as "Sex-Friends". Thankfully, I was able to upgrade this to "Girlfriend" later in the story while still dominating her during sex, meaning the relationship was dom/sub roles in bed while loving/adorable everywhere else. Just bloody perfect. Anyway, Emilie seems to have no qualms about you openly dating other women, so feel free to gather that harem while you play.

AlwaysFan is a harem VN starring a short stack albino girl and the lewd modeling she undertakes to make ends meet.

The game isn't as dark as the description sounds... unless you want it to be. There are two very distinct paths in this game, a love path with an optional harem and a manipulative path in which you turn your harem into whores. While I didn't play the dark side of the story as I was off put by the opening rape and subsequent dubcon prostitution, I did peek around at the gallery when it unlocked post game. Shit gets pretty monstrous. Be aware of what you're getting into.

The story and characters are pretty good. Each character has their own circumstances, goals, and personality. In addition, the story has an obvious arc to it, each step pushing the MCs toward their goals and lewder territory. The good guy story has a satisfying ending which is always tough to pull off.

The models are good, but I just can't help but feel there's something a little off about them. I feel like Emelie's skin is just a little too white given the images I looked up of actual albino people once I started playing the game. I think my real issue is the eye size though. Both of the MCs just have massive eyes. Weirdly enough, I only really noticed it on the two of them though, not the rest of the characters. Doubly weird: the aged up versions them post game don't have the problem. Adult Emilie might in fact be the hottest girl in the game.

Regardless though, the sex scenes, whether the animations or circumstances, are pretty damn hot. While Emilie by far receives the most scenes and focus, there are at least three or four scenes each with the rest of the harem. There's also a significant number of three or more somes.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game. Fans of filming, exhibitionism, and albino short stacks absolutely can't miss this game. Everyone else is definitely encouraged.

Great game! Played through both paths in one go, first the "being nice" path and then being not so nice path. Took me around 2 hours 20 mins or so, judging by the timestamp on the saves.

Pros:

• Hot girls
• Great animated renders
• Decent audio
• The ratio of story/text to gameplay/animation is perfectly balanced to my taste. Usually in renpy game I dont bother reading all the text and just scroll through it, but in this one the story was intriguing

Cons:

• Cant think of any, more content would of course be great

Good story, Great love interest. Emily is gem of this game. Her looks might scare some but her personality is gold. I only played Love route so cannot say much about another route. Story too is very interesting.
Overall very good game and characters.

The story itself is not totally unique but on the other hand not played to death either. It's got a nice spread for those that both like the good guy perspective and the psycopathic side as well and even if you go into the bad side as a starter you have several opportunities to switch over to being a good person

The characters are somewhat decently fleshed out for being this early on and I trust that we'll get some more of that in the future for the side-characters as well. Fair warning tho, if you like the Albino female it takes you down some pretty dark paths even this early on if you choose to go that way and being the type of person I am, I had a somewhat hard time to stomach that side of it after I had already done the "good" path, but for the ones who enjoy it I think it has- and in the future will have what you're looking for

The models are not something I was used to going into this, but if you can get along with other 3D models it shouldn't be too hard for anyone to pick it up

The placements could possibly do with a little more work, but that's just me being petty since it's nothing really immersion breaking and animations for sex scenes are always nice.

the quizzes are nice and admittedly while I did look things up (shame on me!) they were good questions that I know some of you nerds would love to challenge yourself on

Overall If you'd like to take care of and love an introverted shy cute albino girl or contarily see her used and abused I think this game is for you.

I honestly look forward to the future of this game and if you can get past your biases against the models, like I did, I think you can as well.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

The setup is rather unique: a social outcast albino girl that was constantly bullied at school has a huge crush on the MC since he showed her (some) kindness despite not being romantically involved with her. After a series of unfortunate events she ends up at the MCs doorstep without money or shelter.

Since both the MC and her are in dire financial straits (university dropouts, no relatives to support them), the MC convinces her to set up a AlwaysFan account...

From there on, the game starts to branch into a love path and a submission path. The love path especially is written very well. The submission path starts off with the MC being quite an ass towards her, but unlike many games that equate submission with constant mistreatment, this game allows to change the relation into a caring dom/sub later (real gf relationship, with aftercare etc.). This was a very pleasant surprise, many games with submission tags force the MC/player into being a total jerk - not just in bed& during roleplay. This one starts that way but it gets better as the story progresses. You also have many opportunities to move from the submission path to regular loving path, but i really appreciate the "loving submission" option.

Avoidable "NTR" in the sense of "sex with other characters than the MC" - so far its sharing & prostitution without her tempted, cheating or the MC in danger of loosing her. The path was still very hard to follow, since it gets very dark, very fast. A way to keep the sharing path active without accepting jobs from an obviously abusive client would be great: Currently its "Ok seems very fishy, but we'll do it anyway" or "we call this one off and never do it again". Wish there was a "we call this one off" option without disabling all future content (esp. since after the last two harrowing experiences, thats the result anyway).

The albino GF is the main focus, but she is open to a harem relationship (even has reason that's somewhat believable: her very low self esteem & outsider role at school led her to a fantasy where she was only able to start a relationship with the MC this way) the other girls also have interesting stories & sexy scenes.

Technical stuff: Graphics are not amazing but good: For me, models which are not cut&paste from other games are more important, which is the case here. No horrible grammar, writing is good & original, characters feel alive and well thought out.

Looking very much forward to the next installment!

Enjoyed this one. For a first release this one got fair amount of content. There is many path to play. Love, corruption/dominance, NTR route. Only played love route. Emilie is naive and cute. Really loved her. Even in love route MC try to corrupt her to pose nude in camera for money. Well afterall main concept of the game is that. Well the title is always fan. Really loved the date with Emilie. Seems like harem and pregnancy is possible in the future.

NTR is avoidable. If you want to play a nice romantic route it is possible here. Overall this one is a good start. Really looking forward to more Romantic interaction with Emilie in the next updates. Of course with other girls too. Keep up the good work dev. Looking forward to next updates

Great start of the game, Emilie and Amanda are very hot characters and the tease at the end of a hidden society opens the possibilities for many stories, can't wait to play more.
Another thing I played both paths Love and Dominance and Emilie is always a sweetheart but her naive nature leads her to sexual results which is great as well
