I wouldn't call it dumb. It's a kink or fantasy some players have. See it as a power fantasy. They want to play a MC with huuuuge dick because it's something that isn't possible in real life for 99,999999% of people. Personally I prefer more plausible MC's anatomic. I just like variation. I'm fine with the MC having a big dick, or a massive one, or average, or small - as long as it's different in different games. Unfortunately it isn't - they're nearly always big or massive. 2 - And I think this is the main reason. Animation clipping. In real life when you're fucking, as your legs connect against each other or anything like that, we do not clip, our skin simply absorbs the impact and then goes back to its normal shape when no longer in contact. To have that done in a video game like these adult games, it would take serious dev time to create non-clipping animation sets. So rather than worry about clipping and limited positions, it probably makes sense just to give the MC a big dick and then allows for more animation and positions to be done without clipping issues.

a decent 8-10 inches is not out of the realm of possibility for these communities.
working in health care I have very rarely seen above average on all male or trans communities.
