I don't think an open world is necessary lol. When has that ever meant anything good for a hentai game project.
I was happy to see a sequel, but I just wish it was like open in maybe the rooms and that's it. Don't need a whole empty world to run around in that adds pretty much 0 value to why you're actually playing the game for, like getting your back blown out.

I'm calling this move "planned feature bloat".
Set your game up to fail from the get-go with a ridiculously complex project, suck money out of morons for a year or whatever for minimal updates, stop developing and feed whatever drivel about the specs and ambitions being too hard for you/your team to meet for another year, shut down game and keep money.

So this shady guy has come up with a new way to make some cash: he takes a broken character editor and says, "Hey, check out my new game, so cough up your money!" He doesn't even bother making the cover art himself; he just uses AI for that. It's really puzzling why Kabier is so into him—some folks say Jason has been involved and sex with her since she was underage. He even trained an AI using she drawings.

Jason got into the whole Pickup artist thing with Kabier when she was still a minor. He got her hooked, painted for free, and then they ended up sleeping together.He also tried to get some fans to give up their families to join him in an "open sexual relationship" with Kabier. If that's true, then this damn baster really should be behind bars.

One second you're saying he did this, next second you're saying well this is just what someone said. Make up your mind or better yet talk about how this game is for some reason, going to be open world, which seems like a terribly bad idea.

That part about Kab is actually true. He used her for his NSFW work, especially the animations when he needed a voice actor. If ya look up "********* Jasonafex" you'll find a thread of almost 300 pages about him and kabs bullshit over the years and how much of a predator he is, and how much of a scammer she is.

Wow I played the first Amorous when it was basically finished and enjoyed it, had no idea it was by the Bare Backstreets guy. I remember I checked his twitter once and he was going on a very defensive, politically charged rant and I decided I wanted none of that and just avoided him ever since. Sounds like I dodged a bullet.
Too bad though, the character creator is buggy but with work it could be good. It has a good number of options, but accessing the sliders is hard to figure out. Could benefit from some tweeks on the UI.
I don't know why we would need free roaming in a dating sim though, great way to make a game feel very empty. If the game's about meeting people at a nightclub just keep things tight and focused.

You can literally swap out Jasonafex with 80% of Western game devs and it would still be true.
Yes I know game development is hard and takes time, but when you are taking people's hard earned money, the least you can do is give them a product they can enjoy.
