This game is sooooo close to being right up there with Imperial Gatekeeper in terms of quality. It has such potential for a great business management rpg. But it just *doesn't* quite get there gameplay wise. It falls just painfully short. PAIIIINFULLY SHORT
**THE ART (8/10)**
The game has spectacular art, just like dungeon repeater and imperial gatekeeper, the costume cg is honestly the best part about the game even more so than the h-scenes. This developer really nails the environmental storytelling, and I really appreciate the effort on display. It would be a god-tier management sim if it weren't for...
** THE GAMEPLAY (3/10)**
This is what really urked me. Each working day, you are tasked with ordering provisions for a bar so that customers can enjoy a variety of food and drink. There are a lot of neat ideas in here, a bulletin board to advertise certain events and sales, a kitchen to prepare more complicated foods, all of these features help sell the immersion, but as soon as you order your stock, and prep your meals, that's it. THATS THE GAME. There is NO GAMEPLAY required during the working day. As soon as you hit 'start day', the day is over. This REALLY depreciates the impact you have on the restaurant, and it shows. Keeping inventory for a week of food service is REALLY DULL. Sure the events are nice, but there DESPERATELY NEEDED to be some extra element to the business day. Also, its too easy. By week 4 you are making almost 200K a week, they try to keep the pressure up with the rising taxes, but its almost a negligible cost. If it had a Papers Please level of continuous pressure at least the "game" would feel a little more impactful.
The bar minigame from Karryns Prison and this game need to have a kid, it would've been great. there is a sadness in my heart
