I don't know. I always thought that this forum was for pirated stuff. It seems weird to me to download the game from a third party when it's freely available on steam where you can get updates too. What does it fucking matter?
.. I don't know, some of those 'hugs' are pretty nice.. *clears throat* or so I hear.I have never understood adult / porn games tagged with "no sexual content". It’s exactly the same as buying a hug from a whore.
Most players don't want any adult games on there steam accountI don't know. I always thought that this forum was for pirated stuff. It seems weird to me to download the game from a third party when it's freely available on steam where you can get updates too.
I have a steam account for normal stuff and then another one for questionable stuff. I think like this at least I can support the developer with a download from steam and maybe a review. Most players don't want any adult games on there steam account
Meanwhile I saw Gahyeon in the preview pics and immediately went to download.yeah,.. i hope they have the rights to the faces.. they look WAY too similar... so as Dreamcatcher fan.. i at least wrote to DC Company with the Steam link
(yeah i know,... i didnt link the forum i said i found it on steam)

DC's maknae first dramatic role is an uncommon one.
Even though I'm a big Dreamcatcher fan I'll refrain from playing this.
Also why is a free game here?
InSomnia... ASSEMBLE~Meanwhile I saw Gahyeon in the preview pics and immediately went to download.
It absolutely is based highly on kpop idols. Some of the "cards" you get after scenes are these specific idols in their costumes for different singles lmao. Like..the dev didn't try to hide it at all lmaoMMM maybe is me but the models remainds me of some Kpop idols....
Of course they aren't trying to hide it, it's practically the purpose behind it.It absolutely is based highly on kpop idols. Some of the "cards" you get after scenes are these specific idols in their costumes for different singles lmao. Like..the dev didn't try to hide it at all lmao
That depends on just how much of a arse the kpop stars legal people/managers want to be, selling it is not the only way they could do things about it legally. It's also not being sold so no laws are being broken.
Pretty sure most of the stuff is from public performances and some might even be traced over fantaken photos. That said, it looked like some Seolhyun stuff was kinda blatantly based on her famous CF...That depends on just how much of a arse the kpop stars legal people/managers want to be, selling it is not the only way they could do things about it legally.
If they could provide sufficient proof they could go for something like unauthorised use of copy right images, assuming those images used are not public domain/publicity type stuff, even then were those images done for a magazine or some such in which case that magazine hold those copy rights, there are probably a load of things they could do, chances are they will not as it is not really worth the effort, but they could do if they wanted.
I'm actually curious to know the legality of using the likeness of someone in a game, even if it's a free game. It's also not being sold so no laws are being broken.
Depending on local laws where said person happens to live etc.... it's generally illegal as all hell.I'm actually curious to know the legality of using the likeness of someone in a game, even if it's a free game.
With kpop it's usually the latter. There should be pretty much zero chance they got permission for this from any of the companies (definitely not from JYP for Yeji), no matter how tame it is. First off, it's not just AOA and they're pretty much disbanded now after Jimin's scandal last year. Second, the dev changed their names, but then also used different idol's stage names rather than picking random Korean names or something...However with all the talk around this game and how much it's advertised, the lack of sexual content or anything offensive and how it's pretty much just a slice of life romantic drama.... it does seem like they may have been given the go ahead and the girls are using it as a bit of extra advertising to reach people they may not normally.
I could be wrong but it was heavily implied it was based on people to do with AOA and they haven't exactly been secret about it yet still have no cease and desist so either they got the go ahead or nobody involved gives a shit.
I mean a large amount of people according to prostitutes buy them just to have someone to talk to so in a way a lot of people do buy them for just a hug. Ok to the main topic I personally think its fine even great to have adult games with no sexual content as often times these games have really good stories that tackle certain subjects that make them worth playing. Take Katawa Shoujo for instance that game could easily have been played with sexual content turned off and it would have been just as good of a game as it was with because of the sheer goodness of its story.I have never understood adult / porn games tagged with "no sexual content". It’s exactly the same as buying a hug from a whore.
Adult just means mature themes not porn/nudity.Does "no sexual content" also imply no nudity at all?
If so, what exactly makes it an "adult game"?
Not sarcasm btw, genuinely curious.
