VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Another Man's Wife [v1.092] [Too Perilous]

I don´t know what the former reviewer meant with NTR, because there is absolutely no NTR at all.
This is one of two or three games here that is really about swinging.
That means everybody gets to experience other partners and everything is consensual.
This alone makes this vn outstanding, combined with the quality of renders and animations, and the more then decent writing is clearly a 10/5 for me.

Man this is a good one. Multiple paths that increase replayability and quality images with a good sprinkling of animation. If you like NTR and adjacent content you can’t go wrong with this one. My only gripe is the he “Ya” versus “Yeah”. It’s a small complaint but language can pull me out of the story sometimes.

Excellent storyline of two adults using communication and respect to enhance their relationship! It's a great break from the cheating, deceiving, corruption games that are so prevalent. While those can be fun, too, I enjoy seeing these types of games that advocate consent and communication.

Another Man's Wife (1.046 version) is a rare game in a good way. It takes the core of the options of opening a marriage to others and handles the story in a realistic and mature way, so uncommon in this genre. Characters are developed well, with interests and objectives, but also doubts and questions about all that is happening, if it is going well or too fast, if it can endanger their love, and so on. Sure, at some points the story goes a bit too fast to be realistic, but it's part of the genre and it manages to pull it off while remaining relatively believable, which builds up the tension, the tease and so on.

Character models and renders are very good, and there is a great job on facial expressions and poses and so on. Animations need to improve, as they are quite a decent number but, especially the first one, a bit basic and stiff (not in that way!). And, at least in my playthrough, the only bug I found were a couple images not showing up. But, if the end explanaition is like it looks, it does seem like it will be a relatively short game.

In any case, a game worth playing if you want a good story on these topics and not just a quick fap.

Easily 4 star game. I want to give it 5 but it's not quite there yet, however easily could be with a few small fixes.

-Visually, the main wife is hot and looked unique to me vs all the other daz copycats- same with other characters like Gina and Amber. The renders themselves are nothing spectacular, and this along with kinda janky animations are the main thing holding it back from 5 stars. It doesn't have to jaw-dropping, but spending the extra render time for things like skin effect/shaders would go a long way.

-Story/mechanics are both solid, the points system is easy to understand, and I found it to be well-telegraphed, though apparently not all players found this equally to be the case- give it a try yourself, it's worth a run.

Along with story, one thing that's worth commending on its own is the pacing. The pacing is FANTASTIC in this game, as far as the ratio of dialogue and backstory to sex scenes go; this should be a gold standard that all games shoot for. It's not so dialogue-heavy that you get bored and blue-balled, but not so sex scene heavy that you become jaded dont care about characters, it's perfect.

-Audio is present, and passable with some nice backing tracks, nothing fancy, but better than the audio-less games.

Excited to see where this game goes next; and as mentioned, with a little more visual polish, could quickly be 5 stars!

Another Man's Wife is an interesting and quite good visual novel about swinging. The visuals are done well, the scenes are hot, and the story, while quite quick and jarring at times, is written in a highly seductive and effective manner. Heavy spoilers ahead so strap in!

[The title, preview images, and description can be misleading! This is a full-swap sharing game. There is not a walkthrough yet and reaching or avoiding some options can be quite challenging.]

The premise here seems simple, a man asks his coworker if he would be interested in fucking his wife. Simplicity ends there (as if that were simple). And anyone playing the game should know, this is not a simple sharing theme. As it currently stands, there are several characters and there will be some MFM, FMF, MFFM scenes. The player character's wife will be shared in an attempt to convince her that you should be part of your coworker's threesome. There are hard swaps (they will have sex with different people, also in different rooms in nearly the same time frame). And lastly, the authors toy with the idea of cheating at one point. If those things are your kind of kink, then this game has done it well.

If I had to complain, it would be that I am asked to suspend quite a bit of reality to buy into the story. After a quite boring and slow beginning (ridiculous discussion about possible money laundering), the action happens strongly and viciously sudden. Based on player choices and the path, the wife goes from a hard, fast "FUCK YOU!" to a harder and faster "I am taking the guy at the end of the bar home to fuck so move your ass if you want to watch!" Part of the interest in the story is the radical path differences. However, it is hard to believe that a woman who has never had any kind of non-vanilla sex life jumps so wildly and so quickly into multiple partners and a regular side dude the first week. This is a red flag in the lifestyle world of swinging!

A much more realistic and believable aspect of the story is another character introduced at the bar (the husband's swapped partner) who is excited to watch and participate but is not willing to engage in all-out full swinging with a group she has just met moments earlier.

The free-roam sections are annoying and useless. Otherwise, mechanics are standard for visual novels. There are some minor typos but they are completely readable. The story is slow to begin and then out of control shortly after. There is a good amount of material to help you quickly get off.

If you are looking for a decent visual novel that slams the swinging route hard and requires a strong dose of "porn logic" to buy into, this is the game for you! I am confident this game will head to the top of the list for this type of content as long as it can remain pure to its swinging theme and avoid the typical pitfalls (BBC, cuckold, cheating, etc.) that bog down similar games.

Wow, Wow, Wow........I just finished and I gotta say, great for a first time effort. The game perfectly emulates what a couple usually goes through when the topic of Sharing come up...I love the different dialogue decisions and was actually concerned about what choice to say.

The girls are hot and the animations (My favorite aspect in these VN's) is above average and not the 2-3 frame animation some of these games are known for...

The story jumps into it pretty quick and some may say too fast but for some reason this story works well. I try my hardest not to give out 5 stars unless the game is flawless BUT I believe this game can quickly become a favorite with some polish......some UI improvement, some sounds and improving the animation further

Ive been on this site for a while and this is my first review. Fantastic so far. If sex scenes were a bit longer and polished, this would be my favorite game. Great build up and choices that matter. Can't wait for new update.

The Game has in my opinion a Great Story, and this game is one of the Hottest Swinging games that I really Enjoyed Playing.
The Story has love, swinging, and lots of sex etc. in it, and just love it.

Five stars all the way. I can't remember the last time I was so pleasantly surprised by a game.

The premise of the game is pretty simple. A coworker with a hot wife has invited you into at joining them for the threesome. The caveat however is that you're also married, and while you're interested you need to find out how to convince your wife to be okay with it.

What follows is a game about a married couple experimenting with their sexual boundaries, getting into kinky fun, and COMMUNICATING every step of the way.

Unlike other swinger games that encourage lying, cheating, or generally being unethical, this is a game that rewards honest and good communication between partner. The characters are very clear about what they feel, there's constant moments to put in limits or hit the brakes.

This is also a game with a lot of depth waiting to be discovered. Take for example the first major scene of the game, which is a Friday night date with the MC's wife. Depending on the dialogue choices and the flow of conversation you could end up having some one-on-one time with her, having a threesome with her, having a foursome with her, going two-on-two with another guy and girl, or just watching her get it on with someone else. The triggers for the different outcomes aren't obvious though, and take lots of experimentation to find all the possible results.

Overall, just a great game for anyone who enjoys swingers kink. Looking forward to the next part.
