Seeing how much rule34 the series has I'm curious if someone has made an adult game parody of it.

The only one I can think of right now is Niplheim's Hunter - Branded Azel. It has that monster hunter vibe and isn't a VM or made with RPG maker.

Looks like a throwback to classic rpgs nice. Thanks will check this out for sure.
It's pretty good. Lots of scenarios and a decent gameplay loop. The premise is probably the best part of the game though.
There's another game in the series but it's nowhere near as fun or as in-depth. It's also not very monster hunter-esque either.
