Hard to explain but I'm kinda looking for anything that has a good... 'atmosphere'. Something that is a bit more serious than the typical stuff we find on this sight. Nothing majorly serious or focused wholly on drama. Looking for a well mixed blend of writing/atmosphere and smut here. Best example I can think of would be like Night Driver. It's got a bit of mystery to it, a bit of cheekiness, and decently done sex scenes.
Whatever comes to mind doesn't need to be detective stuff or have some major mystery scene per se. But I think what I'm going for is most common in that genre.
I'm open to a wide variety of character types, kinks, and themes so don't limit your suggestions. I have my preferences but I'm aiming to cast a wide net for this request.
