Anyone else cannot progress with the story of AURA hentai cards because of a bug?

Reading the comments of the itch.io page of that game I realised I am not the only one, but the developer never replied. Basically a certain boss battle against a redhead woman should progress the story but the battle endlessly repeats itself. Anyone had this problem and solved it somehow?

Quit to main menu and reload your save it should fix the problem at least it fixed for me
