How do you find the sex scenes or gifts to give him?

I've replayed the game twice and haven't really found anything besides sodas and chips and the likes

There is also not really a whole lot of things that increase your affection with him besides giving him privacy when he asks to or brewing him a coffee. And cheats are broken, so you can't do it that way either. I'm curious if people have managed to max out their relationship with him to see the scenes
