There's nothing weird about it, There's not enough ppl care.
This VN is actually NOT as good / as popular as you think. The Art is about average as the other 420 FVNs, there's nothing unique or stand out.
On top of that, the Dev seems quite toxic so I don't think He's community is very big.

What the actual hell is going on? I see people begging for an update till they start to get annoying when the game is pretty much updated, I see another fellow being like

It's because there hasn't been a Patreon update uploaded here or anywhere since October, creator of vn now does exclusive content for the game through Patreon hence people including me want to see said exclusive content.
And I don't know why your all of a sudden complaining about the chat here when no one has said anything for 10 days till you started complaining
