Apparently next update will be released on 3rd of June, the dev said so in one of the comments on itch.io page

Archipelagates' second patch is complete!
This patch has been primarily focused on combat and progression fixes and improvements.
New Content
I will be aiming to patch in one month again unless something game breaking needs an emergency fix. Next month's patch will be all things sex. I am hoping to improve sexual interactions and variety in the wilds and at home.

- Home storage chests can be purchased by speaking to Willow
- Added two enemies to later levels
- Improved generated ruins
- Added new weapon looks
- Added new dyes

- Added one new clothing item
- Fixed bug with skeleton stun behavior
- Fixed penis clipping through body
- Fixed physics vibrations during dialog
- Taught NPCs to put away their weapon during sex

You can actually stand on the ground next to the gates and open them without worry of being thrown back.

I can't finish creating a character, when I click finished nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe a silly question, but are you naming the character (lower left-hand corner, where the finish button is)?
Replace all color codes of one item on html color code.
Still need to change the pattern if you don't need stripes.
