Honestly, dev has fair reasons, and we can all thank payment processors for the game not showing up on itch or steam. Sad that it means we'll have to wait even longer for this game to be finished, but at least the dev does still plan to finalize this game. Here is the screenshot from Itch that Wabulbo is referring to. If it is real, basically the Dev thinks that if he just had more money from his patreons he would be able to work on the game until completion.

Didn't they try to put the game on steam but Steam blacklisted their game due to the randomized NPC sizes spitting out some sus sized individuals and Steam's greenlight process said 'absolutely not, goodbye.'?Honestly, dev has fair reasons, and we can all thank payment processors for the game not showing up on itch or steam. I looked back and yeah, that was one of the reasons.Didn't they try to put the game on steam but Steam blacklisted their game due to the randomized NPC sizes spitting out some sus sized individuals and Steam's greenlight process said 'absolutely not, goodbye.'?
They tried to appeal but Steam wouldn't play ball.
Who the fuck really cares about games like this enough to demand they get delisted? Like I get there's special interest groups that lobby companies for stupid moralistic bullshit, but surely a large portion of the public isn't actually aware of stuff like this and is demanding it be deplatformed? By the way, there are new alternative payment processors trying to use this as a way to attract artists/developers with promises of neutrality and transparency, so it isn't all bleak. Here is the screenshot from Itch that Wabulbo is referring to. Just my 2 cents:Who the fuck really cares about games like this enough to demand they get delisted? Raliv hasn't given up on the game, and the "some other game" was already planned and being worked on. Archipelagates was going to get one last update to finalize it, whatever that would include, but it was not the primary focus before. Archipelagates was also not planned to be a big sprawling game, and was essentially finished already but people wanted just a little more and so a "final update". As for the funding, it wasn't a patreon funding issue, it was the fact it's not on Steam and is now hidden on itch.io which means no new sales. If the funding is fixed, we'll get the update.Apparently, Archipelagates, wasn't bringing in enough money on his Patreon, plus the fact that people could make 'kid sized' characters meant that there was no way they could publish it on Steam. So, instead of trying to double down on the product they have, the Dev seems to have switched to trying to produce some other game and just let this one wither and die.
There are obelisks that can sometimes appear in levels. When you find one, go up to it and interact with it. Each one has a new pose until there are no more poses left to get. From my experience, obelisks started showing up after I got to level 5, but they might appear sooner.how does one get more poses? or how to use them? i always see changelogs with "new poses" but there is no info on how to use them
thanks you very much for explaining. There are obelisks that can sometimes appear in levels. When you find one, go up to it and interact with it.
