One thing that irritates me about visual novels is that every time a dialogue appears, it slowly transitions for about 1-2 seconds.
I'm a fast reader, and it's a little irritating to have to press "Enter" twice every time I want to skip a dialogue.

For the record, are there any simple apps that be used alongside any visual novel that make dialogues appear instantly, so I only have to press "Enter" once to skip to the next dialogue?

Usually games have "text speed" option, crank it up to max and it's instant.
