Are there any people who hate lesbian sex?

I'll throw in my two cents worth on this subject.

If I have a choice, I'll skip the lesbian content because generally speaking, it holds very little interest for me. That said, when it's done well, it can add an interesting dynamic to a game or story. When it's not done well, it can be boring as hell. Unfortunately, it's almost never done well.

If the lesbian content becomes the focus of the game, I'm done, moving on to something else. I don't find lesbianism offensive, but it's simply not something that will hold my interest.

I have a lot stronger aversion to female protagonists then I do to f/f sex scenes. That's unlikely to be helpful for your purposes, but I doubt I'm alone in that.

You should make the kind of game you want to, though.

Why would anyone hate lesbian sex? Everyone except gays likes pussy, and lesbian sex means more pussy. :D

Well, as someone who loves pussy, more pussy only matters to me if those pussies are getting a good stretching/work-out. Anything else to do with pussies is just foreplay.

Your game - add what you like.
If people don't like it, tell them that they're free to take a hike or skip/ignore that content.
Make stuff you're unsure about optional - if people want it, they can track it down. If they don't want it, they can avoid it. That's probably the best way to "please" everyone.

I'm not interested at all on any lesbian content .... I can watch some straight porn if there is a man involved..but further from that, no. And that's why I avoid like the plague all the female protag games here.

But having said that....if lesbian sex turn you on...why the hell you're going to make it optional? if your story goes through a lesbian scene, and is your kink, go for it damn it. As I always say, if you can't fap with your own game, it isn't your game.

you are making a porn game with optional porn content
Oooops, I made all sex scenes on my game optional. Now you gave me something to think

Honestly unsure how much my opinion would matter in this scenario, as I don't play female protag games.

With that said, I am not a fan of lesbian scenes in games. 9/10 I can deal with it, my only annoyance is with games which seem to believe all men love girl on girl action. I'm cool with lesbian porn if I'm in the mood for it, but most of the time I just skip through it without bothering to read, or at worse get annoyed by how the scene played out or was handled and just delete the game and move on.

With that said, can I propose a question?

You have a female protagonist game, as proposed by OP.
You want sex with men optional. Makes sense.
You also may include optional lesbian sex? wait...

Female Protagonist game, you could potentially have a game with no male on female, and no female on female... Is it a masturbation simulator? Bestiality game? The Sims without sex? What tf would this game be??

Well, I don't usually play lesbian-only games/paths. But a little lesbian content in a mostly straight game is usually a nice bonus for me.
I know that's exactly what most poor unsuspecting lesbians like Avaron1974 hate because the lesbian tag in mostly straight games confuses them. But the tagging system isn't perfect, so there's no better way to tag such content.

I don't really get this. Surely, in a game where you make choices about who to fuck, isn't deciding not to fuck any of them also a legitimate choice? I mean, just for completeness' sake.

I'm making a game where you have two romantic partners (a man and a woman), and at the end you can decide not to go with either of them. It's up to the player.

Honestly wrote that late at night, barely remember doing it. That said, I'm not wrong.

Your game is choice driven, not content locked as described by the op. The major difference is with the "at the end" part of your statement. When you lock specific content out of your game, you'll want to do it early or have it a setting before the game even begins. Causing the content to be locked and not seen entirely. In this case, OP proposed to lock both lesbian and hetero sex, so basically all sexual relations with a partner has been removed if the player chose to do so.

Hmm, OP's English phrasing isn't great. When they said "given the option" to skip male sex I got the impression they meant you always have the choice to avoid it, not necessarily there's a big button at the beginning that says "Do you want to have male sex? Y/N?" But I'm not really sure TBH since I haven't played any of their games.

Agreed on having an even bigger aversion to female protagonist games. I just can't get into it if I'm playing from the girl's POV.

As for OP: As I mentioned above, seeing girl x girl just breaks the immersion for me.

I hate my neighbour Les, does that count as halfway?

But to be fair I got a lesbian couple on my street, they cool. They gave me a Rolex for Hanukkah, I think they misunderstood when I said I wanna watch....

I am making games with female protagonists. If I can, I am usually trying to provide an option to avoid sex with men because I am aware a lot of players might not enjoy being pushed into it. I have to spend extra resources but I believe it is worth it to make my games more accessible. But what about sex with women? Should I be careful too or is lesbian sex a universal kink that does not offend anybody? (Or such a small minority it is not worthy to care?)
You are worrying to much about pleasing everyone.
You right a story with a specific audience intended. If you don't you will end up writing shit.
Make it clear who the audience is you are targeting if the other people don't get it or accept it screw them.

That said to answer your question:
Yes, there are people who don't like girl on girl action. It's probably close to 2/3 the earth population. However, you don't have to worry much about them because most of them also wouldn't be playing porn games or even looking at porn.

There is a smaller group of men who think women on women is a waste of a two good women. Call it jealousy or just wanting what they can't have. Who cares again they aren't your audience so don't worry about them.

Any, back to my original advice don't try to please a wide audience it doesn't work out as well.

Yeah, I don't know if what I was trying to say got across, but I just wanted to comment in a bit of tongue in cheek way was that more isn't always better if it's just for the sake of having more.

Like for me, I can appreciate a really well written lesbian scene, even if it's not in my particular wheel house, but it has to be stellar writing. So one scene of really good writing in the game is much much more worth the effort than 12 basic scenes forgotten in T -5 seconds.

If you're gonna make a Female Protagonist game, it is good to have plenty of choices and not force the player into doing things they don't want to do. So it's good that you are going to provide an option to avoid sex with men. I want my Female MC to be a lesbian and I would love lesbian sex scenes.
