RPGM - Completed - Aria and the Secret of the Labyrinth [v1.04] [Tsukimitake]

Decent scenes, good and simple game play. Game is sort of short, just a few hours to clear. Most game overs are handled in your cookie cuter here a few images with a bit of text. While a few are more like a interactive event yet somewhat short. Like escaping from the goblin camp.

I find many games to have over complicated mechanics or be grindy for the sake of grindy. I found this one avoided both of those pit falls. It's a rogue like mystery dungeon with a simple inventory management system where weight is the gimmick instead of slot count.

Overall a "meh" type of game. The main two thing that make this game stand out is the art and the variety of scenes, yet that alone is not enough to compensate for the boring gameplay, map design and progression.
This game feel like it should have been a hentai manga instead.

    Great art, shit game.

Lose2H, gameplay mediocre at best, infuriating at worst. The art is good but the scenes themselves not so much, with a few exceptions that go the extra mile with the scenarios. Best to just get the 100% save and spare yourself the bad parts.

Undervalued, the art style is very recognizable and I almost feel sad for Aria to be thrown in all those situations. The sound effects on repeat may have some improvements but still, the animations are good. The quest rather though however.

It's got really good art, but the scenes are mostly obsurced by big guys and thier buttholes, even the beast scenes don't show anything really. weird way to do your art given all that effort. Also you can get super gang raped in the first 60 seconds of play, so it's not really a hunt and find scenes kind of game. Like watching a porno where the camera just shows the guy 80% of the time.

Decent rpgm game, took me about 5 hours to complete without hurrying. Satisfying amount of CGs, gameplay is okay, I liked the part that when you lose to some enemies (goblin, thief, wasp, sentinel, succubus) you end up in their camp or den and have to get out (although succubi one was bugged for me that I could not get out without teleport).

Stupid carry limits. Mediocre gameplay which is a given as that is pretty much a synonym for roguelike. Mostly worthless levels kinda as other review stated. Some legit retarded scenes like if rape and murder is ok then she should by all means bash any rapists skull in cause FFS if you can kill monsters you sure as fuck can paint the wall red with a rapist.

Game for intents and purpose has no sex at all if you go from start to exit. Unless you do the worst most de facto retarded thing ever for such ero games to ever contain or implement which is go about losing on purpose. From the town to exiting the dungeon there is nothing

It's a mystery dungeon/dungeon crawler, though even if you lose your gear is still retrievable or just never removed unlike many others.

Starting with the good parts, erotic content has good variety and quality to it, and that is the primary draw here. Gameplay is decent, but misses the mark in a quite a few ways. Sounds are balanced, nothing loud, nothing overly quiet, but nothing to write home about.

As for the flaws, it misses one key aspect of many mystery dungeon/simple roguelike games, the enemy AI in tunnels in this game is wrong. They do not use tunnels to go to different areas, they treat tunnels as rooms. This means they will wander back and forth in the tunnels getting stuck for extended periods of time. This is especially bad with ranged enemies, as they have a huge advantage there, requiring you to spend a lot of health or some ranged ammo to take them out.

Erotic content is barely integrated into the dungeon cleanly. The only status effect from the causes you to have enemies try and fuck you more often. Lose and you get captured/fucked. Simple stuff like that is about all.

Leveling up primarily gives you health, and that is at a slow rate as well, so levels are barely relevant to the game.

Loot is also a sore spot, 50(everything weighs 10) carry capacity and probably the most useful thing you can pick up is staffs, because somehow they weigh as much as an arrow, but you can cast multiple times with them sometimes.

Overall as a game it is a sub par mystery dungeon/dungeon crawler. As a source of erotic content and events it is pretty good though.

Gameplay - The battle system can be a bit difficult, the ranged equipments in particular . Can be significantly grindy, but can be cheesed by getting upgrades due to unlimited money source. The corruption system does not mean much, does not affect environment whatsoever.

Art - Carries the game and this rating significantly, the expressions are on point and shows the essence of the genre well - so if you don't like violation and stuff like that beware.

Story/Scenario - Almost non-existent story, although the scenarios can be rather fresh and complements the art. The MTL is okay enough, the animated scenes are 'translated' poetry, but other than that everything you need to finish the game is done okay.

STORY - Nonexistent. You got magically teleported into an underground town and the only way out is the labyrinth. That's it.

GAMEPLAY - Typical mystery dungeon title with turn based combat and items. The problem is, this game does it poorly with a number of bugs and myopic design choices like how your dodge rate only applies to enemies directly in front of you. In other words, long range attacks have a 100% chance of hitting you, even with evasion boosting items.

VISUALS - Three standing artworks carry the game with the exception of the sex scenes primarily unlocked via defeat sex.

GLARING FLAW - There is no status screen to manually check progress towards your next level up or your current crit-rate. Frankly, aside from the equipment menu (which is insufficient) you don't really have a tangible marker of growth. And level ups often feel pointless because sometimes you randomly miss and enemies do extra damage.

You could beat an enemy at LV5, but fight them again at LV10 and get demolished purely due to the RNG-based combat.

Although the game is playable, I don't see why you would. Besides the sex scenes, there is nothing of particular interest to be found here.
